saw a nice chrome bike today. was checking it out to see if i could tell what it was and i looked at the bars and they were q bars! way cool. well until i realized they had been cut to less than a grip width past the bend. what the??? why would someone do that? was that the style at some point? did that facilitate certain tricks?

Yea, cut bars have been pretty much the rage for the past 5 years with the new school. I am always coming across butchered bars. Personally I don't like riding with thte narrow stuff, but a lot of dudes swear by it.

interesting... so is it a fad? i have also see bars pushed waaay forward. is that something folks are doing now too?

cut bars are BS have this one friend you always cuts is bars its BS he did it to some BOSS bars BS
