Picked this up today.... filthy, green and crusty, but not rusty! Should polish up pretty nice.
What year is it?
Any idea what those forks are??? They look real familiar, but I can't place them right now...

Randy
Slighty odd s/n by most records but I'd say it's a '77. That number normally started with a C for Chattsworth, that looks like a J, maybe for junior? Or maybe it's a '79, either way it a nice frame, should clean up nicely.

Fork looks to be a generic brand, maybe Wald.

Forks kinda look like Cook Bros. forks. huh.gif

Your forks look EXACTLY like my Cook Brothers forks...same welds, with the one spot weld on the inside. Nice score Dave!

Yep Randy, that is a J in the serial# .

Hmm.... Wald or Cook Bros.... I think I'll go with Cook Bros.!!! laugh.gif

I should have known Cook's... I'm tired, it's been a long day... also picked up a Patterson today!
