Wow, what a great time I had in Vegas.... Here are a few photos i took while partying hard.

This is most of the Skyway Riders except for the guy with the hat on, he said his name was Bobby Brown, not the singer. He told me he used to be co sponsored by Skyway, but no one knew him. Even Ken Coster (Skyway Owner) didnt remember him?

Looks like you guys had a blast. I can totally see Blyther and Voelker trying to convince the guy at the door that they rode for Skyway. Brian: "Me? Yeah, I love mags. You kidding me? I'm all about mags, man..."
Did you end up having shirts made for the occasion?
I'm just curious about the guest list. Where there any no-shows? I'm just thinking about the handful of famous Skyway riders who weren't there.

Man, that was fun as all hail. It was 48 hours of non-stop old-school action. No riding snd I'm still baked.

Bob-O that shirt was a hit and assured my old-school pimpedness creds. Ha. I saw a lot of double-takes at the trade show and I don't even think they caught the subliminal part of it. A couple people we were hanging with caught on after a while and were cracking up. I love that shirt! You nailed it with that one for sure. Strong work!

Yeah Bobby Brown sure stunk up that picture. I've been wanting a photo with everyone for a long time and dude just crashed it. Even after Eddie said something like "this one's just for the Skyway guys" he kind of ignored it and stuck around. He is not right in the head. Really. During the actual Nora awards, he was angling to go up on stage. Said something to me like "I guess they want us to do something on stage later huh?" By that time I knew his game and just blew him off. He really is delusional. Voelker told him they wanted him up in the VIP area for something just before it started.

Hugo almost didn't even come and of course he got the biggest yells when he went up on stage. What a guy.

Xavier, I say we have the 40+ skatepark ride on the weekend of the Elysian Park BBQ. You guys call it and we'll at least get some old-timer Nor Cal guys down there. Got some pictures to post too once I get it together.

Ha Ha! That ad is hilarious! Yeah, I wonder what that model chick is looking like now? She was too cool for us at the photo shoot. I'll bet she's like "yeah, I did an ad with Mat Hoffman now" like she was buddy, buddy with him.

So, I got his business card and checked up on him on Myspace (mr_bmx01) since his card is all about BMX shows. That gray shirt he's wearing has a big advertisement for his "bike stunt show" on the back. It looks like he does have a ramp trailer and some really young guys riding with him which is cool. I thought for sure he was a total faker but now I kinda feel for the guy even though he was driving us all nuts. He really is a little off. He pulled his profile though. It was sad: he had like 3 friends. I wonder if people were heckling him or something. I just wonder how he got an orange all access wristband.

Brought a huge 1979 Skyway banner for the backdrop was perfect along with some magazines to reminisce with. Great time had by all especially the new school riders giving ALL the OSer's huge applause, especially Hugo, for each of their contributions to the sport of BMX.

The Skyway reunion shirts were totally gnarly and the crowd ate them up really quick!
