I think it is mainly the hunt for something to ride. Nothing beats driving along, and seeing something that makes your knees go weak from accelerated pulsing in the brain... you want to get out of the car right then and there and go hit it.
You cant believe your luck, and that something like that is just sitting there.

So I have got at least 7 or 8 different spots that neeeeeed to be hit.

Yesterday, driving to work, passed a feild and woods I pass all the time, and looked casually looked through a gap in the woods and see a metal, 12 foot fullpipe... What?!?!?!

So I am now gonna make freestyle Vintage my oown little street web page... and report with videos when I go hit something up.... first pics, then videos of hitting it up....

So stay tuned....

I am looking for some natural ditches, pipes and banks to skate with Barret!

Strrrrreeeeet!

I've acutally been riding our concrete park a little more lately, since I've found myself riding the same old street spots. I'm not great at park riding, but there's a real pool-like bowl there that's really fun to ride.

I've heard about some bank spots that I need to check on when I get the chance. Finding new stuff is the best.

I prefer trails and parks really but I had jury duty on Monday and I spent the time walking to and from the courthouse looking for things to ride. That's the cool thing about street is that it makes you look at the world a completely different way.

i like to build things on street out of pallets and random things laying around.....finding new riding spots is the greatest feeling ever

Even now that I'm gettin' old and my body is beaten down, and I don't do much street riding anymore, I still have that eye for seeing something to ride on. I don't even have to "look" for them, they just naturally catch my eye. It's still cool, but these days I usually follow it up with a sigh...

My girlfriend used to bust me looking out the window looking at girls. A lot of times there was nobody there and I was taking note of something to ride.

Then there was my friend who drove a tow truck and was pretty handy with a lockout kit. He'd mention what cars were hard to get into and which ones were easy.

Got to thinking that there must be an endless number of ways to look at the world just driving down the street.
