The first of 5 episodes was an interest hour to watch.

Hearing what the riders had to say was interesting , the airtime , windfactor & jump track condition seemed to be a good thing to blame a lame run on , it's the same for everyone tho , the track & weather conditions will always vary from run to run at an outdoor meet.

I think the biggest disapointment or missed opportunity that these new skool big air riot boys overlooked to me was the 4th sand jump , no one even gave it a look or try , they all used it to stop on !!!!! Slackers.

Jumping the fence & landing on top of the TV camera
van would have gotten you the win , no problem at all

I'll wait & see what next week has to offer....

damn i missed it. did anyone record the old school part?
COASTY
I think richie has a section going onto his site.

The old school part was not shown on the first episode.

There was no old school footage shown in Episode 1 , it was _all_ about "day 1" at the outdoor quadruple dirt jump setup & the guys only using 3 of the jumps.

The competitors did mention that "tomorrow was the street comp" , so I guess the VBMX footage will be in Episide 5 of this series.
I will be dumping each Episode onto my Pioneer DVD recorder/burner thingo with a 250Gig HD in it & dumping each Episide onto a at least 1 DVD-R or Dual layer DVD-R for Matt , he reminded me to grab it for him yesterday afternoon.

The closest thing to VBMX on this show was a Porkers song being played & credited during a triple jump run.

Dammit , I missed last nights Episode 2 of the series ,
Did anyone catch it ???

Fortunately it is getting repeated this Monday night at 8.30 pm on Fuel Tv , the guide says "Park Competition Highlights" I'll see what turns up
So I'll get it down onto my DVD player then , seems to use about 2 gig of space for each 1 hr show including ads.
I think that the Vintage stuff will turn up in the last episode (number 5) we will be lucky to get 5 minutes of airtime , but any press is good press. Hopefully Pete was in "on stage mode" when he was yakking about the Oldskool bikes
