Hey waza. I had a look at one of my Vortex mini's and it looks very much the same. It's different to the other Vortex Mini. Weren't they all made in SA by Elizabeth Cycles or something?

when hal pulled up with the swirling gun and threats i stopped , prosight continued , as you all can see on the locked topic , yes i PM'D him obviously as you also seen .

HMH "SPINAL DISORDER " is on today guys.(saturday) We're going to start setting up at 11am...but we don't kick off till 2 pm. We've got heaps of riders from down south up here, international riders, fuel tv is televising it and a fist full of cash from VANS for the pro purse. ($3000) Today is going to be HUGE. So if you guys are near Beenleigh...drop in and watch some of the best riders in the world today carving up our new ramp.

Come on Hal. Seems it's only one or two people causing the trouble. Why would you shut down a thread for all Australia's VBMXers because of one or two people? Wouldn't it be fairer to warn or suspend them rather than taking it out on all of us. Since the last incident at Christmas the thread has been civil and positive. No need to nuke all of us...

I just got back from a huge ride along the esplanade. my boy hurt his back practicing his "monos". I felt bad cause I told him to get up and stop being a wus. He jarred his back a bit. his little mate thinks I'm really cool cause I can do tricks. I fell on my *** twice too. Now I need a nanna nap.

Sounds like a fun ride nonetheless Glenn. My 11 year old and I compare scars now - it goes with the territory. I've still got "DX Shin", "Gravel Burn Elbow", and "Mono Gone Wrong Back of Hand". No scars show now from the "Over the Bars Broken Arm" though...

Yeah my body is covered in BMX and skatey scars.
All part of riding, and thats what I told him (and his mother )

I have had 24 broken bones in the past 25 years of riding. Also fractured my skull 3 times. I guess I should give up, now that a have a wee girl to think about. She was born Thursday the 18th Jan. Thats why I have been a bit quite cause I have been at the hospital since tues. Sorry to see the string broken boy's but lets just keep the convo simple and talk about what we really love, BMX and our kids. Teamharo

about your injuries, I just have lots of scars and broke my lumbar 3 4 &5 vertebrae given my name here. But about 7 years ago I came off quite badly and went to a chemist to get some large dressings, when I aksed for them he looked at my arm shoulder and leg and said how did you do that? I told him I was racing, in return he responded "well your not very good at it are you" the rude bugger.

Thanks lads, I might let her race but no freestyle for my wee girl. The freestyle riding these day's is out of control but what will it be like in ten or fifteen years. I was supposed to judge at the bmx games and help out on our triplesix stand but sadly I am not going. But I will let you in on a little secret I am working with Steve Cassap on a old mid and new school reuion. It will be held at the Melbourne casino, three day event. Feb 2008. Looks like I have a few sponsor's to help with flights and acc. We will be bringing over some amazing names from the U.S. U.K. and OZ rider's. Just started this project so I will keep you all posted!
