I see this expensive quads now a ripper, haha.
The PK is at ~$1125 , so as long as it goes for more than the $900 for the Quad frame + the $265 for the OM signature padset = $1165 it could change into a PK ripper , hedge the frame choice either way as the Quadangle dosen't have any stickers on it , a NOS Quadangle frame stickerset would add a few hundred dollars if they could be located for sale..

I just won a set of NOS brown/blue SE Flite pads from the same guys selling that PK. He provided a tracking number which was good.

Hi James - the bike's ready... not sure about the rider. Lilydale's a good track for my first cruiser race - nothing too brutal (apart from the opposition). Racing 2 classes might kill me though. I don't know how some guys race 3 - pit bikes, 20" and cruiser. When's your next race?

Hutch Aerospeed cranks = $7000 (we'll leave these on. This has to be THE MOST EXPENSIVE Quad we could buy/build). Doesn't have to be functional/rider.
Hutch Beartrap Pedals= $770
Pads = $250
Cook Bro's stem = $500
Bottema Forks = $250
Campy Graphites = $800
JMC Bars = $900
Hutch Plate = $855.32
Hutch Clamp = $117
Need tyres, bottom bracket, brakes, grips, seat, post, etc....

As was pointed out by JB, if we were to take into account the cost of blasting and powdering the Quad as well as stickers it would, at the moment atleast out do the PK.
I think however there may be a mad run on the PK at the end by people with too much money and no sense....not to mention a serious addiction!

So is someone going to start a thread so we can build the worlds most expensive bike. I thought that you should have proof of the price. Like ebay number. It would be good for reference on what not to pay !!! just don't want to steal someones idea.
As for racing 3 bikes. I am thinking twice about pedaling a sidehack, now that's working the chicken legs at a race meeting?

I need to get back on the bike before I race. Back for x-rays etc on Monday so I will know more then. Lilydale might be easier for cruisers but it is the track that sent my bike's previous owner to the emergency room so I think I'll take it a bit easy to start with.

hey so with this new one is t a matter of just requires parts with the auction for proof or does it have to be different parts from the previous attemp if so ill get those jmc bars, hutch clamp and beartraps up.
Also have you started a topic for it or do you want me to start the topic and as we get them i can edit my post keeping the final price and parts updated if you guys want.
