I need wheels, brakes, seat post, I'll probably get a fluted gold one. I have mcs foot jaws for it and I also have a suntour post clamp.
I'm leaving the cranks that way 'cause I'm gonna ride it backwards:-)

Does that mean the seat post will have to fit the headset and your goose neck will need to fit your your seat post hole should be interesting to steer......... :0)

Hey Broke,
Your Torker looks sick! Well done. Make sure you post progress and completed pics.
I'm doing one myself at the moment - black and gold on chrome. Luckily I sourced some black Torker pads from some pals in Hongkers cheap last year. Those pad sets have been hitting USD $250 in recent months.

Broke,
Very nice Torker there mate. Is the frame & fork NOS or have you restored it? Looks like you've got enough pads there to do a few more Torkers too!
Martin,
Your stem arrived last week - I'm very impressed with it - thanks mate.

That bag of Torker pads you have is worth a small fortune - lol

I bought the frame recently from ebay, it has been powdered candy red. the photos don't do it justice the color is amazing. the stickers are repro from a guy in the states and the pads I collect I guess that's what finnishes of a bike, decals & pads. I will be sure to post the progress
now time to buy more bits!!

Hey Kurt,
Glad you liked the stem.
Hey Broke,
I live in Hong Kong but visit Sydney at least twice a year. I'll be back in Sep/Oct to start shooting my collection with a professional mountain bike photographer.
No photos of the Torker as yet - it's in pieces right now. But here's another of my bikes with a bit of gold . . .

Love the quad martin.....black and gold always looks classy. How do you store your bikes? In a dust proof, humidity / temp controlled room? They look so clean and perfect - you must really look after them.

I treat and handle my stuff better than I would a new born baby.
My stash has travelled the world. At one stage it was in 5 locations in 4 countries. They are all in one safe and secure location now. Not temperature controlled but safe nonetheless.
Not sure if you caught my 1982 Redline Proline previously but I'm seriously excited about it. The candy apple red is exactly matched to the original Redline colours. The paint is gorgeous in real life . . .

Now that I've finally found a world class photographer, it will soon be time to unleash a whole bunch of bikes you guys haven't seen yet.

Ok, here's a preview of another one I'm very excited about. I've finally sourced some clear backed decals for it - that's how I remember it but still researching. Also trying to source more Profile components but you can get the general drift of things . . .

This next one isn't mine but I'm making a Phase 1 very close to it . . .

My actual set . . . going on a Hutch of course . . .

My recent Patterson arrival . . .

1983 GT Pro . . .

1984 Skyway TA . . .

1982 Floval

1984 JMC Shadow

1982 Supergoose (unfinished)

Ok not vintage but . . . my mountain bike

Going to have to save some surprises. Lots of stuff being or has already been preped. Next stage is building and shooting . . .

Martin - that Patterson looks bling!
The rechrome sure makes it look NOS.
My only critism of your builds is that the numbers on your plates are too damn far apart from each other - lol
Hey Broke - did you get that Torker from Chris Baron?

Lol . . . you're right . . . I'm free and single and have an obsessive compulsive personality. In this game, that's dangerous. Luckily I have other hobbies to distract me or I'd really be out of control . . .
I sourced this stuff from everywhere and I moved around a bit in recent years. I also have a sister who lives in California. I started sending my stuff to her in the beginning but she absolutely freaked at the shear volume arriving there almost daily. Needless to say I can only get her to help me out on odd occassions as a last resort.
