Martin - I'd go for silver or red Araya 7Bs on that Proline - just perfect!

Yep, leaning toward Araya 7Bs in silver. Saw your post with the Stu replica - thanks! I like more contrast though. So considering chrome Ukais if I can date them to 1982.
So, is your "stuff" for sale? I want those Patterson decals. Hey, I'm only in Sydney a few more days. Did you want that NOS Series One in red? If we miss it again this time, it's Christmas.
Here is another preview - worked on this last night. not finished:

It's my 20th year school reunion this Saturday night. Guess what the first question I'll be asking everyone will be . . .
May 24 2006, 05:58 PM

May 24 2006, 07:04 PM
Christian Brothers Lewisham in Sydney. That's going to be a weird night for sure.

May 25 2006, 04:53 AM
Geeeez Bruce! Not a very flattering photo. LOL
Borrowed the oversize jersey, socks and gloves. That's my old cross country mountain bike. Helmet is old also. My real ride bike and gear are back in Hongkers.
Beat Bruces' kids on the first race but one of them got me on the second. Legs are back to normal now. Don't sprint like that usually.
Yes, was fun after over 20 years! Thanks Bruce ... looking forward to doing that again. Will be practicing to beat your kids!
Bruce was relegated to operating the gate starts as he has 2 broken fingers from a serious crash. Maybe next time . . .
May 25 2006, 05:07 AM
where was the track at Martino? SHould have told me.. I would have come along bro
May 25 2006, 05:14 AM
Sorry Luis, I didn't know if I could go until last minute. There were some heavy hitting mountain bikers and hard core BMXers there - at night with the lights on.
The mountain bikers were the who's who of Australian mountain biking - Aussie champions. They were getting rad over some serious jumps. Was very cool.
May 25 2006, 05:20 AM
Oh, track was at Castle Hill.
May 25 2006, 06:22 AM
they should probably call this forum AUSTRALIA BMX instead of WORLDWIDE BMX !
May 25 2006, 06:31 AM
YEAH WE KNOW DONT START ME!! We've been through this Ozzy.. and I got kicked off..
May 25 2006, 06:34 AM
OH DEAR ... there will be a COLT 45 pointing at me soon

May 25 2006, 06:35 AM
LOL.. yeah watch your back homie..
May 25 2006, 06:40 AM
i can see it from the website owners point of view ... there is a massive support and input from the aussies on this website , if they dedicated a room to us , that would probably take a lot away from the other rooms (not to put down the US input that is massive) , but all it took was someone to say "who is from australia" then 492 pages later ... here we are

I think we're just a drop in the ocean - far from massive. There are something like 10,000 + members here now and only a handful of Aussies that post here regularly.
We are more prolific rather than plenteous.
May 25 2006, 06:50 AM
there might only be a few aussies that post regularly but those who do make up for it in the amount they post, who said we were loud mouths..................................
May 25 2006, 06:54 AM
i should read others posts before i reply..............DOH
May 25 2006, 06:56 AM
Here's a shot of me riding one of the newer Flovals on the same track:
Yes Luis, I do ride the bikes.
May 25 2006, 06:57 AM
Thats why we post the most from coast to coast!! Calling all homies to post some photos.. Proie/ Waza_the_rock_dog/ and some of the old school guys.. form early Post.. Pete Porker where are you homie.. + all those who sit back and just watch start posting dudes.. stop been closet freaks.. hehehe
May 25 2006, 06:59 AM

May 25 2006, 06:59 AM
what im sayin is that the threads that i FREQUENT ... vintage bmx , worldwide bmx , tech and resto . its constant same aussies that post , hey ... were a drop in the ocean compared to the US input , but we hold our side up !
YES , richie who called YOU a loudmouth .
May 25 2006, 07:01 AM
I didn't know those guys were closet cases. Come out guys. LOL
May 25 2006, 07:05 AM

May 25 2006, 07:05 AM
Need more practice on the old stuff. I can only ride hard core on a mountain bike these days.
May 25 2006, 07:06 AM
I got nothin to post. I've been busy playing cars today. I'm really stuck in the 80's now. I'm riding my goose and playing with a Ford Escort. Just like 1983 all over again. Love it.
May 25 2006, 07:13 AM
great stuff Glenno..
May 25 2006, 08:33 AM
Tell me it's an Escort with a V6 atleast Glenn.
May 25 2006, 04:38 PM
coastvl do you want another escort ive got an original RS2000 2dr with heaps of spares including a genuine spare nose cone. Im the second owner and have had it since 1989 and have been meaning to rebuild it all that time but it just sits in garage collecting dust and rust these days, i should move it on but sentimental value has stoped me.......lol
May 25 2006, 04:44 PM
Thanks richie but this one is all I can afford for now. 6 months ago I would have snapped it up. I've always wanted an RS but couldn't afford one. This is only a 1600. I need something cheap and economical to drive to work. It goes great so that'll have to do for now. Maybe somewhere down the track I'll go late model jap/turbo.
Howard the V6 is too heavy for what I want it to do. I like going around corners fast
May 25 2006, 05:57 PM
Hey osamaie, here is my Patterson Long. Its finished but the seat is incorrect. I'll get a viscount seat latter on. Enjoy.
May 25 2006, 08:55 PM
coastvl its going cheap as it is unregistered and the engine has dropped a valve but there are enough spares to get it going, ill swap it for a pk looptail if any one is interested let me know.
May 26 2006, 01:23 AM
