A few international pros would be cool... imagine the crowds? I'm still getting grief from the council and neighbours for the amount of people we got this year for track attack at south eastern. As I've said to the neighbours -what do you want? A bike track that only has 3 big meetings a year or a 24 x 7 coles? Some people don't know when they've got it good....grrrrrr Yeah BMX is so noisy.... those freewheels are deafening click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click

that sounds good veloci....bout the pedal,,just need to find another....has anybody ever done a helicoil on the threads on bikes, and do u think it would work, coz i think that would be the easiest option...helicoils make the og thread stronger..apparently...i havent seen any stripped threads in cranks b4...
osamas,, thanks mate,,they r now on the supermax cr-mo..but i cant ride it yet...
cheers

Hey,
Finished watching Joe Kid !!! Top stuff
All I can do is grin at all the memories I have. Again top stuff.

Today I took the hack out to the track. I didn't ride but I let some young energetic guys ride it they had a ball. They didn't want to give it back and wanted me to bring it next meeting. Everyone liked it. Out came the cameras and note pads. So hopefully there will be a few more rolling out of those sheds soon.

Like the bikes Dugga

cool pics Paul. looks like the answer fork fitted ok?

Ian: we badly needed a r'n'r day yesterday- and enjoyed it too. Itchy feet did get the better of me tho' and the boy & I got out and did some sprints up the street. Glad you had a good day!
Did Connor Hunter race?...he was awsome Friday night.
dugga
Paul - they're great pics of harry - looks like he finally wore himself out.
Mark - yeah Connor was racing, he had a good day.
Looks like it will be quiet in Melbourne next weekend with the ACT titles - you going up? I've been left behind to guard the fort. Might give the clubhouse a good clean out.

Ian - well done. I went on Saturday to Eastfield and am really getting the urge to have a go. Just need to get a helmet and a 20 year old's body.

Paul - great photo, even the look on his face appears to show that he means business and not to mess with him.
Mr.BMX
Hi All,

Just thought i'd show you a score from yet another bikeshop that claims :
"we don't have any old stuff left".... hehehehhe

All NOS in packs etc, No shelfware,
Makes it an even better score from the **** in the shop ;-)
ALL brake-levers are original Shimano & Dia-Compe models, same as the cables too !

and a closeup of those crazy SX/DX 2-speed levers.

Not bad for about $15 of petrol, and the owner TOLD me to take it all away.
(although i did sweep his workshop floor after dropping a box of spoke nipples all over the place hahaha).

Another early xmas hahahaha
Enjoy,
Marty.

good score marty... you even got some bearing boots in there. Haven't seen them in years
Mr.BMX
Yeh, i pretty much forgot bearing-boots, until i saw them in the shop and thought "hey, i had one of them on my bike", then grabbed the bunch ;-)

Here's a nice old goose frame

Jet Black
That extra gusset with the "lightning hole" drilled in it , down near the BB , is a new variation to me , or has it reamained cleverly hidden behind ring gears on the frames & bikes I have looked at over these years ???

There's some keen $US bidding on it already at the "WHITE TRASH BOUTIQUE" almost as good a name for a shop as "The Retail Slut" store I went into when into in Hollweird in 1887 ...their motto written under the shop's name was "a good place to spend money"

JB
Hal
Thats an early 1977 mongoose. The gusset down at the botttom bracket should be there on the early models. Hard to find these today, thats why the big bidding............
redlineoz
wow marty, u gonna sell any brake levers?
cheers
AndyDiamond
Marty - you'd probably be able to sell those two-speed levers to some JMC DY nut!
waza007
JB also note that goose frame has NO brake bridge, at all, for a caliper. I missed out on a 1975 goose frame for $35 by an hour or so. It was for sale by a member here. It was broken but that dont phase me. I'd love a early goose with the extra gusset.
