Crossriderozzy, ring your internet provider and they should set you up with your own webspace and tell you how to put your pics on the webspace. I have only just mastered this a week ago! Up till now, I have been relying on other people

Or you can always set up a free account at Photobucket or at Imagestation. You can then post the pics from their service.

Hi all,
Fore those of you who want to upload pictures here, and are having trouble (or cant find a good piccy host) i'm offering FREE space on my site to host for you.
I'll create a folder on my site as your username here, so you'll know where to 'look' for your pics and link them in messages here.
I'm working on adding an UPLOAD facility on my site, so you can maintain your own pics etc, but for now just email them to me and i'll manually add them to my site, then email you the links etc.

Hey guys, If anyone is looking for a quality chromer then I think that I found one.
I dropped in my GT bars and Profile crank arms today and they will be ready next week. This guys has been running the business for about 30+ years and I say some of his work.... A W E S O M E. Does work for rod restorers, harley builders and so on.
I explained that the job had to be perfect and he was o.k with it, showed me some samples and I gave over my prized bars and crank arms. Other shops that I had gone to said 'mate , if you want it perfect then you will have to go elsewhere.... it's just for a bike anyway'.
This approach worked well with me.......fuggin knobhead.
Anyway I will post pix up when I get em back.
Also....... any chance that someone has a Hutch seat post clamp..... its the last thing that I need for my build.
Cheers

Where is the chromer? which state? address?

I cant remember the name he is the only one there.
I havent got the goods back yet so I may still get let down.... however I am very confident.
Cheers....... You dont have a hutch seat post clamp??????

In Newcastle there is 'Hamilton Chrome' - they've been in the same building for about 50 years, they do all my stuff and it's perfect! They even did some of my Chev parts.

I remember visiting the Liverpool track when I was over there on holiday once. We watched a night race meeting. I remember meeting Damon Bevan and his family. His folks were really friendly when they realised we were over from New Zealand, and we raced BMX. A great bunch of people. I remembered that they offered to loan us a bike, and helmet, so we could have a race. But my brother and I were too chicken..hehehe
Seeing that Liverpool Raceway box sure brings back some good memories of that trip.

Your not wrong. I haven't seen that box for over 22 years! I bought my flight cranks and Graphite tuffs from Damon Bevan 24 years ago. He was a good kid. My neighbour up here is also good friends with him. It's a bloody small world I tell ya.

Jun 11 2005, 06:14 AM
It *is* a small world. And a damn great one around here, on this board.
I guess they were pretty friendly also, because my brother, at the time, had just bought a brand new JMC Black Shadow frame set, from Turramurra Cycles. From memory, the guy that owned the shop at the time, was an ex-Kiwi. It was a great shop. Wooden floor, and framesets hanging in the ceiling. I can still see the GT 26 f&f up there...

Crozzy, nice one, easy huh? ;-)
Loved Mornington track, only raced on it once or twice, but 'watched' a few meets there before i was racing....good ol' days indeedy!
When tracks were flat, and all about power & speed, not jump jump jump jump like todays tracks :-(
