Wow, awesome. I haven't seen some of those before.

Adam Banton always comes up with new lines and I enjoy watching his riding. Over three minutes and only one backflip! If I could easily put a front brake on my bike I would, just to try some of this stuff.

Hey mate. Welcome.
In my opinion the best places would be Brisbane/Gold Coast or Sydney. Both have a great scene and the tracks are world class.
Melbourne also has a good scene. Just remember our weather is all arse about compared to yours too. Bloody hot right now.

Thanks Coasty. I'll follow your suggestions. I know that Sam Willoughby is from Adilade but that scene is not as big, I assume?
Kurt.
Thanks guys smile.gif
COASTY
Kurt, You made it back on. Congrats mate.

The scene in Adelaide is also very good. If act most capitals in the southern states have a good scene. Perth too.

Hi guys, I do actually come by and read the threads now and then and I have to keeps post count up now don't I lol.

I'm not very active but still interested in the vintage BMX scene, however things have changed a bit for me and I may need to offload a couple of my bikes.

That said, if I do I'd like to offload them to you Aussie guys.
PM me if you might be keen.

COASTY
I can't remember 6 days ago. I'm pretty sure 2006 was a good one. blink.gif
tino
Got to admit, I don't remember it either.

I went to sign up so the images on the thread were visible and it said my email address was already in use...

Well the kids go back to school tommorrow, so it's back to work and browsing the web a bit more.

Actually my son was born in Jan 2006, so it must have been an good year.
Jarvi
I just saw over on Society that Noel is heading to the show in June in LA. I'll be there as well and so I don't have to rely on others leading me to Aussies I hadn't met before, or missing them completely, who else is going?

At the moment it's only a short stay for me and get in Friday and out Monday. Plans change though.
Fulltilt

I'll be going , for sure and certain . It'll be good to see you again James .

COASTY
One of three jetties along the Esplanade in the bay. Fraser Island in the distance. Sadly I'm back at work tomorrow.. I made todays ride a good and enjoyable one.

Finally after all the friggin' rain on the coast, the sun was out...so time for a pre work pedal...who should I bump into...okay well he is my temporary next door Neighbour...awesome morning ride...

Jarvi
After hearing Stu's record time to Burleigh Heads I think I will need to increase from 28t on the front to my old 30t or I might blow out a couple of knees trying to pedal fast enough.

Out on the bike at 6:30am and morning coffee at Burleigh was the perfect start to the day. And a lot of perfect people out and about too!
bmxmom
tassie water skiers on the news here right now. congrats again to your club kurt drinks.gif
OldSkoolRoy
anyone?.....let me know if anyone is interested so i can hook you up with the seller. cheers.

Hey Roy a workmate of mine came across this Commodore 64 BMX game and is wanting to sell. Do you think any old school bmx collectors might want this? Not sure of the value, it's in very good nick. I'm thinking 15 bucks or so???
Lewis
Kurt did ya break the record.

Hahahahaha THE COMMODORE 64 oldschool computer for sure, I remember this guy in my class in 86 blamed the teacher for a lower pass rating for the reason he will not get his commodore 64 for Christmas. NAAAA he didnt muck around in class at all.

GTHODAD
Im so old school I like the early days of this thread sarcastic.gif
Today I read pages 144-147, Knox 2005 and StKilda swappy with special guest Osamie.Check it out. See if ya can spot Coasty's bike.
COASTY
LOl yeah she went to Knox in a boogie board bag!! Right next to Pete Porkers Quicksilvers.
Kurt.
Lol. I like those early ones too.

I first joined Vintage in 04, but never posted much. Then lost my Password and rejoined in early 06. Doesn't seem like long ago.

Sorry I didnt give you guys pre warning on my Helium. I am listing some Cook stuff and other bits on Oz this weekend. PM me if you want presale info and prices!
Kurt.
Club set a new world record Lew. 145, surpassing the record of 114 we set in 2010. Record of 100 was set in Cairns in 1986. We didn't ski this year. Nor did a lot of the club.

A lot of pics, vids and info at www.skirecord.com
