Sorry Martin.. already went through my decal totes and all I could find is a full bag of Black/white trim zeroes and a bag of white/black trim sixes... to_take_umbrage.gif
Kurt.
Check out the ESP site B. Marty E did have some old stock of decals he was selling. I got mine from his old stock when I bought one of his new school stems.

No worries Juan. I ended up going with what I had. Updated photos but the sun is crappy today so will need to redo some:

Cheers Kurt, will do!

Preview of the next bike. Still fine tuning.

1984 1st generation Redline Prostyler with an RL Osborn flavour. Need to wait for the morning sun to shoot more.

ACGTO
Awesome Martin. It's great coming here and seeing a new bike every few days.

I agree Adam, its a breath of fresh air, keep up the cracking work Martin!

B
COASTY
yeah! I'm lovin' that one. Top notch build.
Jarvi
Looking good Martin. Any plans for a group shots, or not enough room?

A couple of first impressions of Barcelona. It's a very bike friendly place and anyone who watches the freestyle BMX DVDs will know how tolerant people here are of BMXers and skaters. Of course with the good comes the bad and I saw a hipster on his fixie doing skids on the gravel yesterday. Yeah real difficult when you are practically doing a Vander roll just to get the weight off the back wheel...

Twin top tube anyone?

Just down the lane from my apartment.

www.martin-bike.com
Cool guys. It's a lot of fun that's for sure.

No James, nowhere near enough room for good shots. That's why I setup my site this way so you could see everything in one hit:

http://www.martin-bike.com/oldschool.html

Just got back from the bike shop to build a set of wheels. Dropped these NOS hubs off:

COASTY
ha i dropped some wheels off to be built too. Mine were steel rims and Shimano coasterbrake MX hubs though! biggrin.gif
Kurt.
Holy crap nice hubs Martin!!!

Nothing wrong with steelies and shimano MX hubs Glenno!
Lewis
Always loves the white TUFF's with the alloy flanges. Very nice.
Jarvi
Brings a whole new meaning to the word spraybomb. Even the lock is painted the same.

www.martin-bike.com
Seems the habit runs in the family but who taught who?
Jarvi
This is the home of Gaudi, so in comparison the bikes appear a bit conservative.
www.martin-bike.com
I was originally going to ask you if it was street art.

Check out the poster wording in the background. Classic.

What is the stem on that CW art work Martin.
juanrmattos
Did you guys notice in the RL Got Trickier Ad the Pro Styler has A'me full waffle grips???...
I have never ever seen a set of those up for sale worried_anim.gif
They look almost exact to the OURY grips; I wonder how hard to get the may be... I wanna!!!!
Lewis
Might get a few beers sit back on the couch and watch this go down. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...atchlink:top:en

That's nuts.

Photos of the Phaze 1 done but need to redo much of it as it's a cloudy and rainy day in Hongkers today. Also need to add the parts list. Needs Flash on a PC:

broke L345
at that price, waza should sell up. LOL
Jarvi
Think the bidders might have been helping themselves to a few beers as well. Probably all in the same room anyway.

Wasn't feeling the work thing today so went for a wander. Ended up at FC Barcelona's stadium. Quite busy and more so as they are the 2011 champions.

More twin top tube frames and this time with springs!

I'm sure if I watched enough of BMX videos from the last few years I would find a few people giving this area a quick session.

noelg
Wow Martin you sure are kicking a few hotties out recentcl
Vry very cool
Lewis
I like that Jarvi, everything is viewed throught the eyes of a BMX'er.........its not just a street garden feature.

I'm not saying this just because I'm biased but these finishes are by far the best I've seen on any bike.
COASTY
Can't wait to see this latest batch Martin. I do love those finishes on the CWs. The blue looks amazing. I love the Quad. Race bike I guess?
www.martin-bike.com
You mean the CWs Glenn? No, not race bikes but maybe one day.

I got a place right on Narrabeen Beach in Sydney that I'll be moving back to (when I move back). It's here:

My favourite beach in Sydney. No tourists.

The plan is for my wife and I to use the CWs as beach cruisers and to ride to the local shops and cafes. They have the best pies in Sydney just down the road. People will wonder what the old couple are doing riding on those super shiny bikes. We'll never sell those bikes and will put them to a lot of use in coming years.

I can't wait to move back! (Still don't know when that is though).
JMCGT
sounds like a great plan..
COASTY
Really nice part of Sydney mate. My grand parents had a house on DeeWhy Plateau overlooking Long Reef. I would love to still live there! For those that don't know, long reef is the next beach up from that pic.
Look forward to meeting up one day too.
Jarvi
Looks like a nice part of the world Martin.

I still have no idea where I want to have a base. Well actually I do, it's just there's about half a dozen different places. The 360 acres for sale on Kauai would be perfect. Anyone have USD67 million?
www.martin-bike.com
Yep, the northern beaches are super nice. Makes me want to move back sooner rather than later.

BBQ and bikes at my place when I'm back for sure. Everybody invited!
COASTY
Sounds good to me!
I spent a lot of Sundays during the mid 70's skateboarding around DeeWhy, Collaroy and Narrabeen. Best times of my life. I love it there.
www.martin-bike.com
How far away are you from there now Glenn?
COASTY
Hervey bay is 1500k's away mate. My dad is still in Castle Hill out west.
It's funny because where I live now is on a hill overlooking the town and beach. It must of had an affect on me.!
www.martin-bike.com
No worries! We're going to have a permanent bike room and also a permanent guest room. You're welcome to stay whenever you want.
COASTY
Thanks mate. Appreciate that a lot.
www.martin-bike.com
It's going to take awhile but remember this?

All the lounge room shots will be cleaned up so that the backgrounds are removed. Beats doing only 4 bikes a year in a studio.
COASTY
Nice!
