Cool gear guys! I love 70s gear and have no idea on those forks Ben? School us...

I sold a NOS pair of those red tyres to James a few years ago Glenn. Same pattern as the ST but "Comp Ramp" logo from memory I think.

Minor but very satisfying score today. Pair of nice straight 7C style Ukais from a local tip shop for $4 smile.gif

One went on my Mike Buff inspired PK Ripper and the other is sitting in a box somewhere. They will stay as a pair because it can be tough to match them up sometimes.

Thanks Ben, might still wait until Hawaii rather than try and deal with an Apple store here. Getting the hang of buying my manzanas, aguacates, pimentos and tomates and don't wish to push my luck. There is a good one right in Waikiki that helped me out last time with the well know battery issue when doint he Snow Leopard upgrade.

My cutter Mick? Have you worn out the blades yet?
Kurt.
Hey Mick, Numbers look great! Has that package turned up yet?

Thanks Glenn but I need black unfortunately.

Hey James, Bicycleteria. I like that word. Much better than 'bike shop'.
-how was it over there during the bike racing. You can wear your Who is Cadel Evans? tshirt now. smile.gif You shoulda ducked over the border and painted rsabout on the Alp Dehuze road between the 12 ozzies having a barby and that guy wearing the surgeaons outfit. haha
Could you upload your travel news on the rsabout site?

and what do they call Spanish Bottom brackets over there?
GTHODAD

Actually I think I did see RSABOUT painted on the road. You cheeky bugger!
Jarvi
John, it was just a cafe, not a bike shop too. Guessing the owners were just bike nuts. Glad to know there are some in most parts of the world.

Didn't really hear much about the TdF because I don't watch local news. Better make that, can't understand local news. The race certainly attracts the eccentric spectators so I'd love to see it one day. Downtown Sevilla doesn't seem to be a real roadie's place and they are probably further out where the roads are a tad wider and smoother.

Don't know about the spanish bottom brackets terminology in Spain. On the Fly Bikes website they are referred to as Spanish BBs. If I remember, I'll ask David next time I am speaking to him. Based on that being once a year or so, don't be surprised if I forget!
OldSkoolRoy
european, spanish, mid, american....i think thats how it goes. Can you imagine the confusion in 20 years when someone buys a mid or spanish bottom bracket old frame and thinks...what size is the bottom bracket on this!! lol
