I took some stuff to the platers the other day - couple of three arrows chainrings and some one piece cranks

The plater is a total perfectionist - I mean it looks liquid when he is finished

It took two coffees to convince him that I just wanted "factory" style chrome...he was almost offended at first but I promised him that the OG chrome actually wasn't that good on the items I wanted him to plate LOL

I didn't want it better than NOS LOL

ta fellas.

anyone know anything about kingsbury pedals?
Kurt.
Love it. Screams 1979. Moto!!!
COASTY
I know they are hard to find Allen.
I got these copies. They are nos. Not better than, just NOS.
Fulltilt

That GJS is fantastic , awesome bike .

I've got a pair of Kingsburys on the first vintage rebuild I did . Don't know any of their history but the pedals themselves are very simple , a plastic body , the spindle and a circlip . Just lightly riding you can feel them flex under your feet , probably better under a kid ! The '79/'80 Mongoose catalog has them in it .
proline2
i'm not sure, but i think Hare may have done a similar pedal as well. research time biggrin.gif
were they nylon Glenn?

nice goose there fulltilt!
COASTY
Yeah a plastic pedal Allen. These things I have are exactly the same. I would never use them myself. They'd last 3 seconds.

All Original Allen..??
proline2
Matt, from what i can gather the frame is on the cusp from pedals ready to cyc, hence the ames stormer decals but long seat tube. the seller reckons he's had it since new in 1978.

JMCGT
I agree.. thought that with Fluffs old frame too..

Hey Lads,

Having a rough time at the moment, so it would appear I will have to do something I never thought I would have to. With exception of my rider Hutch and my OG Profile...it will all have to go. I will be listing it all up at OZ in the next week or so and then if it doesn't sell, it'll be off to ebay.

Makes me sick to have to do it, but at this point, I have little choice, just thought I'd let you guys know, so if you know I have something you are looking for drop me a PM, as I would like you lads to have first option...you have always been such great mates...

Cheers
