They are from Museum of Modern Art in New York

I didn't put all of them in, there are some cars missing and the Guggenheim as well as two buildings that look the same and are the same height and the replica of the original building MOMA was in, just a couple of little trinkets hanging around....the Missus has them everywhere so I try to sneak them into the shots

Awesome article Kurt...well done mate smile.gif
Kurt.
Thanks Mick. Been gathering bits and bobs, facts and figures for ages. Nice to finally finish it - for now anyway!
COASTY
Yeah Kurt, that was a great read. I always enjoy learning more about oldschool bmx. My head is gonna explode soon! laugh.gif

ACGTO
I decided to race the old school class at the SA State Titles this weekend since I had to be there with Diesel.

Put this together today. Think I'll be riding very carefully. There'll be tears if I drop this.

COASTY
I love it! Good to see it being used. Any race pics Adam?
ACGTO
No racing pics yet mate. Only training tonight and was keeping a low profile.

Sure there'll be plenty at the state titles. Crapping myself. It's an 8 metre high start hill riding straight into a massive double with the guts cut out of it. Will be fighting to keep the wheels on the ground.
pr200
My new fave Adam, cracking bud!!!!!

B
Kurt.
Holy crap! Keep her shiny side up.

I'm racing my very easily replaceable 83 GT Pro at the race day coming up!
velocidad
have fun Adam smile.gif

p.s. keep those brakes tweaked... shes a ripper start hill!
MrProline
May have to send a bit titted blonde to the track to see if you can keep concentration on the race and not drop the bike sarcastic.gif

Mark, it's the first old school bike I've ridden where the brakes actually work. Pretty nervous about the start hill. Diesel took a massive hit on it last time we were there.

This race is about preservation I think but really looking forward to it now.

Feel free to send her down. She can get some pics on the bike. Thinking about changing the grips just in case.
Jarvi
Keep it safe Adam. Make sure some-one gets some great pictures and take a hint from my mother, always leave out anyone in front and just get the people behind.
ACGTO
I don't think leaving out the guys in front will be hard. Hopefully it's people around the same age in the race after us cause they'll most likely be the only ones behind me smile.gif
COASTY
At least your having fun Adam.
Christian I got the numbers mate. Thanks .
broke L345
no worries Glenn.

Adam, looks unreal!!!

look after yourself mate! You can always rebuild your bike, skin and bones are harder to grow back, have a blast though.

Hey Danny

Good to hear from you again!

Hope alls good around your way
Jarvi
Hopefully selling the house this weekend then sitting back and sorting out where I can go for the rest of the year. After looking at flights I think it might be cheaper/easier to get my own pilot's licence and buy a plane...

I've almost forgotten what bikes and parts I have and it will be cool to open them all up again one. It's coming up to two years since they were all packed away.
Kurt.
Mate coming down to stay tonight. We BMXed together and have known each other since we were 4. Plenty of beers and music on the agenda.

Moroccan lamb backstrap on the menu.

Cracking out the Oxalic Acid to clean up the exhaust on his Ducati too.

have fun moving Danny, why back to Franga?
Jarvi
Chrome Hotfoot for sale at a garage sale opposite Broadbeach Primary School. Thought I'd finally found a garage sale score and then saw the gusset...
Kurt.
LOL. You could buy it and move it on on Oz?
COASTY
LOL @ Kurt, it'd fetch top dollar!
My two bikes turned out to be junk. New school Mongoose with those dumb mags X 2. Uggh.
I did find about 30 trophies from SE QLD in 82 -84. Terry (can't remember last name) All in good cond. Sad.
Jarvi
Was out running and didn't have any money with me. Besides, trying to sell on OZ was the reason I cracked it and deleted my account.
COASTY
Frecher was the guys name on the trophys. Any QLD guys know him?
I know that feeling James, It can be painful sometimes.
pr200
Hotfoots sell like hotcakes on Oz....

Me, I'm off to my Sisters for a few beers, then hunting down a few tubes to finish off these two Pattersons that I am putting together, also have two plates to decorate with old school stickers (I love doing the plates)

Weather is pretty good too so I will fit in a swim with the kids along the line somewhere too

Love the Mini.. needs a hammerhead though

they look good on CW's. LOL

www.martin-bike.com
Cool bike! smile.gif

Yeah, the hammer heads are cool. I tried it on this build originally but like the mini version better on it.
JMCGT
what do you think of this style p1 headtube sticker..
www.martin-bike.com
Love it. Classic.
JMCGT
I find the sticker strange..

My #2610 has the CW headtube.. yet my earlier frame has the P1.. but when i read the ads and mags the earlier models have the CW headtube.. 83's.. and the 84 went to the P1 ..? strange
