I have Question (might be abit touchy subject)
To make Pit bike should you cut up a frame ?????
2nd Question is what if it you have a cracked or bent or broken frame is that alright????
I haven't tried a OS bike and not sure weather I would but tried a K-mart bike and it seems to work alright

Did you see the pic of the goose Rohan? Waza and co made a mongoose mini. I think it's ok on a low end frame like a goose or a twin downtube quickie!!!lol

Chris, not sure and I can't remember. I haven't seen her for a year : (
Mattblack, pitbikes came as pitbikes e.g. JMC pit - not many made. However, some people do cut up frames to make them.
If the frame is damaged, why not. And it's for your kid. And it has that old school pedigree. I saw go for it and show us all the gory details when you cut her up!

personally i think if you want to cut up your stuff it is not up to us, if somebody wants to cut up a quad and make a pit thats cool with me, i aint payin for it, the point i am making is that if it is your bike you can do what you please with it, so go for it rohan, you have my blessing, lol

Nov 11 2005, 01:44 AM
I see lots of damaged frames specialy PK's and there is 1,000,000,000 GOOSES (WELL 999,999,999) i seen 1 on a BBQ LOL
I wouldn't dream of cuting up a undamaged OS frame but I think pit bikes are cool ?

Nov 11 2005, 02:17 AM
honestly, is that how it was made, i have never seen one
www.martin-bike.com
Nov 11 2005, 02:17 AM
Yes it's real - it's Jeff Haney's, not mine. Not many of these made at all but wouldn't be too hard to remake it now. Just add some shower rail ... LOL
Last Profle pedals I saw on eBay was over 1.5 years ago. They were modified at that - had the ends sawn off. That's how the factory guys used them apparently.
I was left outside of that factory . . . in the cold . . . but making up for it now with one gynormous factory of my own! LOL

Nov 11 2005, 02:21 AM
Yes it's legit but I don't think the decals are. The seat tube, bars and seat post decals look wrong to me. That said, it is a hot bike. I modelled mine after this and other black Profiles I remember from BITD.
I just love inspirational bikes . . . you know, ones that make your spine tingle and jaw drop. Yeah, who needs a wife!

In fact, you can replicate that bike with a Hutch Pro Racer. Check out the geometry, looptail and fork drop outs. That's just a Hutch in disguise! Nice disguise.
