Anyway, this is what I have been involved in for the last 5 years or so

http://www.ehb.wa.gov.au/

Hmm. Pine is crap in so many ways for building. Send your stinking pine borers to me. We'll see how the little suckers like my hardwood bench. That'll blunt their little european cheese munching teeth...

It's a bit of a theme throughout Government at the moment - federal funding is incredibly tight this year. No wonder they are trying to raise extra revenue through the mining tax... We are looking at mind boggling reductions in our budgets this year too. The worst I have seen in 25 years in the joint.

With your experience and skills you are gonna be attractive to a new employer anyway, but if worst does come to worst, make sure you find out from Centrelink when you are able to be paid before making any decisions about spending your payout. The waiting periods can be long nowadays and I have seen too many people spend the money based on their neighbour/mates/coworkers advice and then having to go months without any income. Call me any time.
Jarvi
Sorry to hear the news Reece. I've always maintained that good people can always find good work so hang in there.
QuicksilverBMX

Cheers guys.

Kurt I wont be getting a payout as I have been on a rolling contract, the one good thing is that if I find another government job I can transfer my long service over (I only have 2 years left) I'll find another job, its just difficult as its the first job I've ever had that I have had to leave!

I'll be away for 2 days with work so I'll be back online tomorrow evening.
AdrianH
Chin up Reece, smart guys always get work. I got out of the army in 2007 with no skills apart from infantry skills (no call for killing people in civilised society lol) so I just used the skills my dad taught me in the garden now look at me, successful business operator, all it took was smarts and a great missus. Much more money and better lifestyle owning your own business mate.

Goodluck.

Nice eagles Mick, who blasted them?

Love the Profile Oz smile.gif

Kurt when I get around to the bench Ill post the pics up, Im actually gonna steal your design now lol.

See you guys at Robertos too btw.

• Had a pic of yourself in your undies as your avatar

Hey fellas, Just got back from a couple of days in Hobart.

No worries Adrian - let me know if you need any measurements etc.

Sweet Eagles Mick!

Looking forward to pics of G-Boy no.4 Christian. That's the dark blue one yeah?

Pleased on two fronts today - The Cook Bros cranks I purchased on 24/5 finally turned up :/ Nice cranks but smile.gif and I found a Flick Trix bike shop at a Kmart in Hobart, that is Diamond Backs! Looptail and Diamond gussets and all!!

Cool shirts Mick - like them! Blue probably my fav.

There was a run of those really tricked out minis in BMXA - 80 - 82. Slicker than greased owl poop, as Oz would have said!

Yummy Christian, you tease you.
Kurt.
LOL - that's love!

That paint looks brilliant on the GB. Like your style, red & bike bits in the lounge.
Kurt.
Have you seen these Flick Trix Adam?

Was really stoked thursday night when I stumbled on these at a Kmart in Hobart. I have never seen or heard of old-school style DBs in the Flick Trix range.

Check the gussets, decals and looptail. And the decals in the back of the pack are classic DB style. Had to pinch myself when I found it!

COASTY
Christian, looks like the house is full steam ahead! Lots of work!
The Gboy looks like it's in great cond. Great score for you mate.
Cool Flix Kurt. I've never seen or heard of the DB ones either.
Mick, Those t's are awsome. Colors on both are great too. I liked the "other" artwork even better! Great stuff mate.
