Cool Christian. He PMed me fessing up when I didn't fall for his initial post. Man some of these guys are gullible!
Yeah '78 DB good. Have a stand-in snake belly till I can get a better one. Still looking for a skin/gumwall/black snake belly (any brand) in 1.75 if anyone has one.
Haven't sent F&F away for painting as yet. Won't be long

First ride yesterday in over three months and fortunately Florida is flat so no hill climbs. Came across a park at the south end of Miami Beach and if I could manual a BMX (or MTB or anything else) then this would have been a bit of fun. Nice gentle slope.
Kurt.
May 16 2010, 04:44 PM
Cool paths James.
Yeah. I think you are born to mono/manual. I used to be able to stand up and pedal 20 times or so, but sitting down and finding a balance point? Nuh uh.
Unlike goodfella Stu, that one wheeled freak!

May 16 2010, 05:07 PM
Kurt I have an all black snakebelly in 20x1.75 if you're chasing one. I cant remember the brand though
Jarvi
May 16 2010, 05:30 PM
I can do the old style mono sitting down and pedaling/coasting. Trouble is with a low seat the effort to get the front end up is much greater and because I have to pull up really hard, I go past the balance point more often than not. Plus it's bloody tiring.
Kurt.

Ha ha I do like a wheelie, but up until now, I haven't been able to do stand up manuals very well, but since screwing together my new (um old Profile) I've been having a ball...starting to get the feel...
Oh and James, you might be impressed, a bunch of us went to a skatepark yesterday..I have to admit I did enjoy it. Alot.
I even got on the half pipe...first time in like 25 years...

Don't even know what this jump thing is called..

Grind rail?

The star of the day Craig (Skywaydays)...I rode with him as a kid and dam, 25 years later, the dude hasn't lost ANYTHING! Yes it is as huge as it looks!!! Insane Bretto got in on the act too!

Sorry for pirating your photo's Bretto!

Yes that's not a bad park although it was so busy the day we were there. You need to start jumping the rail now.

did I mention the dark chocolate and toasted walnut brownies with Maggie Beer ice cream that my four year old (helped) made
crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside - just warm enough to melt the ice cream a little
a glass (or two) of Stella Bella 2008 pink muscat
