I still have a champion sticker that could be copied ? What were you looking for?
COASTY
Mick has done the artwork for the red/white one and the WoW dealer sticker in yellow.
The other ones, the black/white ones would be pretty simple to do. I think I have one of them somewhere.
Kurt.
Anyone on here an expert on Redline v-bars?

Just wondering about stamping. I have a set of Proline bars that are stamped (with the "new" font) and interested when that started to be used? '81?

Also I have 2 sets of Microline bars with no stamping at all. One set off a survivor MX2 I picked up years ago. Anyone know when Redline bars were NOT stamped? I'm hoping it was late 70's!
Kurt.
LOL Answering my own question (with the help of Allen (ProlineII) on Oz):

Unstamped = early
Old style oval stamp = 80/81
New style stamp = 82 onwards

Flylo

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome. I'm from Melbourne, and at th moment I am building an '85 Gt Pro Performer. I have no complete bikes yet, but have a '86 haro master frame, and a Supermax Turbo frame that I plan to build. I am more into freestyle bikes, and no doubt will probable get an '87 or '88 master.
Kurt.

Cool mate - would be very keen to see that.

Kurt.
Mmm nice Chris. What's the story on the fluted bars?

PS: What's the story on the Cyclops scooter?
COASTY
Very nice Christian. Are those Race Inc bars?(nevermind just saw the fluted bits) Love it.
The scoot looks like a cool survivor too. Nice.
Kurt.
LOL Glenn - I thought they were Race Inc by the shape too - and then noticed the fluting after I posted. lol
broke L345
I have no idea about the bars, they are fluted(?) are they era correct? I like them. I also don't know if the hole at the back of the stem is correct or what era that is

The scooter I picked up at the local tip today, I love it what a classic.
COASTY
Oh its killing me now. I can remember who made them.
COASTY
Yeah they are spot on era correct too.
Kurt.
Tuf-Neck bars?
Brisben
Bugger the bike and the scooter

I'm loving the sideboard - is it a Parker Christian?

oh

and those bars ROCK!

COASTY
Thats what I thought Kurt.
Volcano
Woooooohooooo Christian! Awesome G-boy mate! smile.gif
Whats the serial number?

Kurt & Damon- I have Redline bars that have a koizumi stamp on the grip part of the bars (dated 1979) a "three bar redline logo" stamp as well.
Will post some pics.
broke L345
No Ben it's not parker, I can't remember it off the top of my head. we have another that is a chiswell my wife is into the 60's teak furniture and we are both into the mid century modern houses. we bought one in Mt Eliza last year and move into it in sept. it even has the kidney shaped pool. can't wait to take my pool side pictures like Matt does.

I do love the bars, Thanks Coasty I was hoping they were correct.

Mick thanks, the serial is 78-1265. I have another set of decals for this one. Glenn said it was in good condition but it'll be stripped and will be painted Gold.(another color they came in) then I'll load it up with 70's track stuff and drill speed holes in alot of the components.
Volcano
Awesome Christian! Did u still need the G-boy decal artwork in hi-res? smile.gif
Volcano
Speaking of rare bars...

Who has a pair of these Tuf-Neck bars?

broke L345
they look a little stelth fighter don't they?
Jarvi
Christian if you need new bolts for the stem have a word with Mark. He might remember what sizes he bought for me when he helped restore a broken one I had.

Went out riding today as it was a beautiful day here. It is so flat here that it's a bike rider's paradise. Google maps didn't tell me about the bridge though. Wasn't the most comfortable thing to ride over with a reasonably low side and a bit of wind up there.

Yes it's flat as far as I can see.

Yes it's flat behind me as well.

Nice to roll down the hill though.

broke L345
Thanks James

nice ride you should have taken a fishing rod.
Volcano
Looks like a dragstrip James...and where's your helmet?...LOL
Cool pics.
Jarvi
Fishing just seems to ruin a good sit by the water for me. Now, if I'm catching things it's a different story.

Mick, RSABOUT has developed a helmet that basically looks like a normal cap. Very cool...
84profile
Jesus James, did you know that Fly decal on your bars in crooked, you can tell cause that road is so flat.

Hey are you near Orlando? One of my best business suppliers is based there and he has been trying to get me to visit the factory...you reckon it's worth the (tax deductable) trip, nice area?
Jarvi
That decal is original and yes, it annoys me each time I see a photo. Silly me stuck the RSABOUT one on the front and it can't be seen in photos.

Spent a few days just outside of Orlando before coming here, which is around two hours away. Orlando is the theme park capital so you might need to keep it very quiet or bring the family as well. Besides, isn't anywhere good for a tax deductible trip. you could also call into Vegas and grab a frame or two from Bill.

I was just messin' with you James, I was trying to detract from your awesome holiday! Cause I'm jealous!

Dude, you can't call yourself freestyle guy, if you can't get a picture of the RSABOUT decal on the front of your bars while you are riding...can't you do wheelie and turn your bars around?? Come on freestyle guy whatchugot, just cause your on holidays don't stop honing those skills?
