footy was awesome yesterday. such an exciting match. i am watching my ducks winning a home game right now but after the footy yesterday, it just isn't as interesting. i love football but american football moves so slowly compared to aussie rules.

Yeah was a great match. I really thought the Saints had them - but they were just too wasteful in their forward 50 all day and Geelong made them pay for that in the final quarter. Totally understand what you mean about US football. I used to follow it pretty closely. You are actually better off watching a replay with all the delays with team changes and delays in between plays etc taken out!

Went to a local shop to try and get a replacement barrel adjuster and they had one of the S&M Holmes reissues hanging on the wall. It looked very nice and appeared to have decent chrome as well. We talking to one of the guys and he pulled another S&M frame out for me to have a look at. It's a limited edition S&M LTF Tiki. Only 50 made (Hawaii being the 50th state) and the tiki mouth doubles as a bottle opener.
That is a cool looking frame James. Gonna be bringing her home?
Was tempting Kurt however I'm already a kilo and a bit overweight with luggage. Could always post it home I guess. Actually if anyone is interested I might be able to help out. Either than one or the Holmes reissue which was about USD400 I think.

There was also a parade on today so my weekly photos aren't of the beach this time.
It was interesting to observe the crowds when the service men and woman marched by. Lots of applause and appreciation. Many of the US people might not agree with why they to war, however, they fully support those who put their lives on the line.

Just about to commence my other patterson build, picked this up from the States a month or so ago, has been rechromed along with forks and single pinch's, looking really good at the moment but i have a slight dilema.............also have a set of star bars that are in great nic and i am in two minds about getting them rechromed (sending a set of raw JC DY bars and a JMC Frame/Fork to the chromers shortly) so would you throw the star bars in?
The bike will be ridden and probably raced, i know a lot of peeps love og chrome, but thought i would throw it out for comment............
Decal arrived today, put it on the og chrome or wait for a rechrome?
Whadda ya think?

i got a jmc pit bike with forks both blade like shape with a layback white ame grips and cw bars alomst for got the cheap ass mags i like the spokes and polished look

Pics as requested, i am in two minds, the chrome is good but i am a sucker for that wet chrome look...........what would you do if they where yours, keep in mind they will be covered with a plate and a pad, so may be worth keeping them as is.......

I reakon i would clean those and leave em..put a new sticker on and done..

anyways, you can always re-chrome when you stack after 12 months of riding them

I think OG...about 3 years ago, I was all about as bright and sparkly as I could make it...but I've changed direction, not that I like scrappy, I just dig a nice original finish or NOS. Your Bars look way too nice for re-chrome...
