thanks guys
matt it was purchased by the original owner with these exact parts in nov 77 which i am told is actually a '78 it does have 77 decal on head tube though.
a guy on OS (don't have his name in front of me) scored it and put it up for sale on bmx museum for 750 shipped, gonna cost me a little more to get it here but I'm wrapped. the last double clamp I bought cost me 500 USD so the rest of the bike for 250 is not bad IMO.
7b's, shimano hubs, double clamp stem, pisser! I'm gonna keep it as a survivor at the moment. I'll clean it up and find an old used race plate for it and she's done.

Brilliant pick up Christian - great buy. Silver 7bs and that stem are sweet enough without the old 77 MXII F&F. Very cool.
Hey Bri - haven't seen you around for a while. Have to be a classic Redline to attract you!

Brake bridge looks Super LA-ish but the dropouts aren't right for one of them - although the Stevens' were always trying something different. Looks cool Reece.

Thanks again Matt!!!

Tough choice Brad, the OG decals dont look too bad, I would probably leave them on and save the new ones for when/if it gets a re-chrome (not that it needs it)

That is a tough question. The new decals do have more appeal although the bursting stars are not all that common. If it were me I would leave it as is and use the new set on another Hutchins frame that needs the stickers replaced.

Nothing I would change on the Patterson Martin. All right I would probably sap out the numberplate as I'm not a fan of them, I just didn't wish to be negative about such a great looking bike.
NOS OM Flyer - WOW.
Christian, I will miss riding your magnificent 70s bikes. Was always a thrill for me so you better hang on to that one for when I get back to Melbourne for long enough to get a ride in.

I knew there was probably a very good reason for that numberplate Martin and yes they do make a bike look complete. Thanks to Kurt I was able to get an Aero plate for my Hutch. Much cheaper than the Haro Series One or Type Two plates that I also used.
