Glen...yeah that's right...Dave Barties old shop... "Skateboards Only"...I rang there lookin' for Dave and ended up talkin' to Peter Wert. I asked him for his old bikes but he doesn't know where he left em'. HAHAH. He's back on the bikes again and is riding a GT.(new school)

So, have ALL the interstaters made travel/visitng arrangments with the various Melb dudes?
CoastVL: i think you have your folk0-in-laws car to use?
So, i'm happy to still take oldschoolroy & osama to/from the show & swapmeet if they need transport....
I'm hoping anyone else out there is offereing a ride too, we should be helping our insterstate bro's a little you know....

Yeah guys I'm all set. I'm not sure how we're getting from the airport on Thursday. I think the father in law has it sussed. I have no idea how i'm gonna fit the bike in as well. lol I'll strap it to the roof of his grandeur! he'll love that. my wife will drop me off where ever I need to be. She'll be visiting family and friends around Lilydale area.

So it'll be easy for me to pick yopu up, take you to a skatepark or 10 for a ride if you like (thurs/fri) and also come to my place for a look see if u like....
For the show, i guess we'll just work on a way for you to follow me to the track once i'
ve picked up anyone else that needed a lift for the day.
Same goes for the sunday swapmeet, i can take upto 3 guys in my wagon if you wanna come along.

Gday everyone, had a nibble at quicksilverbmx's bike on ebay didn't get it. Didn't want to go to high. I give my quicky away for nothing years ago. Any tips for a newbe on finding a bike? Or is that secret mens business.Will everyone be wearing name tags on Sat or do I look for a group of blokes with gray or on hair?

As for finding bikes. Theres a heap of them out there, you just have to track them down. Ask everybody you know if they have any old bikes lying around. Ask workmates, customers, whatever. I check the tip shop 2-3 times a week too. Pawn shops, vinnies, closing down bike shops. Or you can just buy all you stuff of ebay and the trading post. But you'll pay more usually. Better to find it for next to nothin'.

nugget,been looking for my old bike now for a year now,joined vintage bmx a month ago,the guy's on here helped me find it.Only found it today,my wife can't work out why i wanted it back she thinks i'm fell of it a few to many times in my younger days without a helmet,it's good to know i not alone.
