My childhood hero. Jeff Watson. He started on a goose and went onto a Proline.
My two favourite bikes are his. I just recently found out he used an MCS stem. No pics show this but an interview with him uncovered this. Not a rare stem but I can't seem to find one. The Redline pads just aren't gonna happen just yet.

Yeah Mick, No shipping over here and I think it's a later one. Not a big deal really. Not even sure if JW's bike had one on the goose. I know he had an MCS on the Proline after.

Is too early to have tributes to all the great contributors since 2005 that we dont hear quite so much from? Prosight, Lewis, Howardinoz, Freestyler, Pickles, Velocidad,KOSYMOTO...........
For fun randomly choose a page from this thread to re-read.

Jas (freestyler) is coaching footy now and Vdad is still around. Micoz was a visitor to Hervey bay for a while and Howie is still around too. Not so much posting these days. We need another Porkers gig so we can catch up again.

This rain got me in the garage to clean up. man what a job.
Went for a walk between rainshowers and found a classic oldschool jump. The sides of an old railway dugout. When it dries up I'm going to snap some pics. Can't wait. Oh and its 200mtrs from my house!

anyone know what racelace GT hubs are about...36 hole..spoke offset..what year and bikes?? race / freestyle??
anything
Jarvi
Jan 5 2009, 04:27 AM
There are GT Superlace hubs from the freestyle bikes from 87 onwards. High flange and according to GT they have the strength of a 48 spoke wheel with just 36 spokes. Not sure how long they were around for. No mention of race lace in the 87, 88, 89 or 91 catalogs.
Here's a few I have.
