Hey John, I was thinking on the mainboard (old school) for the Kuwahara reply...as I know there are a bunch of big Kuwahara fan's that wouldn't come here, but would be very interested...(however I'm sure your best mate would chime in!)...that is such a great reply!

Oops. Oh well, I won't bother now through fear of becoming a posting pest!
Jarvi
Was looking through some photos and can't remember posting about this one, or seeing any other photos. I think the owner's name was Tim and he had the Moosegoose and 24" Quicksilver. New school tuff wheels with old school flavour.

ACGTO
Stu has been nagging for a while about getting lineups of bikes. I've kind of done it as I have the camera with me for once. Photo's are crap but here's what I have in the "KIDS" room Stu.

Iwantotbuyahutch
Nice collection Adam! Damn, is your wife and Matt's wife made from the same mold? I think mine would leave me if one of the rooms was filled up that much with BMX gear!

I'd love to see that GHP built up! I don't think I have seen one of those built up in anyone's collection. smile.gif
ACGTO
John, during the week I live in Melbourne closer to the business and the wife and kids stay down the coast. She kind of refuses to look in this room except when trying to justify spending a bit of money. I tend to lose those arguments.
JMCGT
Very Nice AD...good to see the sticker on the GT plate has changed..i like that alot..
I would like to see the GHP too..I will build mine one day..
and i can see that cover on the shelf back there Adam...LOL..the one i have been nagging about for the last few months..

can anyone help with a couple of stickers...JT racing with the oval circle in blue or black...and a number 1 ,no name around 6 1/2 high in black,..?? might have to get the number made...really havn't seen any around..
AndyDiamond
yeah - I mean WTF?

Let's see that GHP built - lol

JMCGT

Finished My GT and Patterson today..well nearly..waiting for new brake pads and redo plate #,s on the Patto...It is so close to a replica of Brian Patterson bike in the Action july 83..

QuicksilverBMX
Nice bikes Matt! What cranks are on the patty???
JMCGT
They are your old cranks Reece..the retro profiles..
I polished the bearing cases, spacers and spider..And the stickers are still on bent..LOL
JMCGT
The XLT GT bars are actually quite comfortable on the GT...think it was one on the best rides yet..
ACGTO
Are you challenging Stu to a high set contest?

Bikes look great too.
COASTY
Lookin great Matt.
QuicksilverBMX
For anyone doing up a looptail ET (or any ET for that matter), the future is looking good. I am about to recieve my frame back from roberto powdered in the candy red type colour (i cant remember the exact name) and i have just spoken to guy that is going to airbrush the white over the top followed by a clear, and he is local! All up the total cost will end up about the same price as a rechrome!

pics to follow when the frame arrives!
Volcano
Cant wait to see it Reece!
AdrianH
I really like the GT Matt, that is a sweet looking bike and so is the Patto btw.

Reece, Im hanging to see your pics, I have a Looptail ET I want painted too and Ive been waiting to see how yours comes out.
84profile
Man, how are the bikes that have surfaced in the last few weeks! Just awesome...and Matty the GT and Patty look sweet as...infact I had to double check my garge to make sure my GT was still there!! They almost look like twins!! Keep that seat up high and proud, just as Greg Hill did BITD!!

Adam, I love seeing your collection, between you and Matty, it is like an Aldin's Cave...love it! But I know there is more!!

84profile
Okay for all you guys that have put up with my whinging about can't find a black 1.75 IRC DB Tyre...I can now rest, the DB is complete..now where is my Turbo!

Jarvi
That's a lot of money for nine little letters Stu. Well worth it though as it does finish it off.

Matt, nice work on the GT and Paterson although I am somewhat of a Larry low-poler but for my new schooler I am a Harry high-polar. Perhaps I am just bi-polar. Yeah that's it.

Now that is funny stuff...you've peaked early in the funny stakes, so I'd just take you bat ball and go home for the day.... good2.gif

james you are a twitt rolleyes.gif

you can't be both that's why it's a disorder.

I had a bit of a score yesterday, I was told about a guy that owned a bike shop and had all his stuff in his garage, didn't turn out to be too much but I took it happily.

84profile
oh and it's 11 letters...was that test?
84profile
Hey broke, that is a great pick up!! Especially the DB forks, do they have a serial number and baseball on them?
broke L345
nope all I can find is on the shaft it says AKISU 1998 04.

I wouldn't have thought the had 1 inch threaded in 1998.????
84profile
...wouldn't have thought so either, I think this job calls for Captain Kurt, the DB expert!

They look to be an old style, with the Diamond in the drop out...
Jarvi
I counted eleven and wrote nine, so no test, just my stupidity.

Christian, those Comp Pools are not seen very often. A guy is selling a set on ebay at the moment but asking for a decent bit of coin.

The give away is the bottom of the forks, they are not welded - just spot welded.

Not Made in Japan
Sumo178
Broke I'll be keen on a set of the pools... pending price of course.

84profile I need those tyres for my Turbo!!!!! you got a source for more? I know Martin has a good set but if he wants what he paid for them its gonna be pricey!
Sumo178
anyone here an expert on Kastan? I have a frame I can get but want to know the deal. I'm thinking as a rider for me but need to know measurements etc.
Volcano
Hey Jake...check here...dont know if its much help though...

Kastan info

Did you get the artwork I sent u?

Hey Christian - Nice score mate! Liking the DB forks.

Sweet DB Stu (as always)...no skids on them tyres OK! LOL

Hey Jake

I know what Martin paid for his set and I paid twice that for mine...I can say they were the hardest part I have ever searched for...I took one for the team, especially for the rear tire...Like I said they were more than the frame and fork and chrome job put together (almost twice as much)... Th first and last item I'll ever pay silly money for!

I'm offing a yellow one that I found in my search..it's on the bay...
AdrianH
I just did a quick calculation on that scenario 84 and I think i had a brain aneurism
Iwantotbuyahutch
Hey Stu, the DB looks "very nice" (to use a Boratism)! Mr Andrews would be proud! I guess those tyres will never see dirt?

I hope you don't come home one day and the kids are doing skids on the DB down the footpath and measuring how long they are! ohmy.gif
Kurt.
Hey guys - haven't been around the last week or so - flat out at the mo. Got a new car though. Woo hoo.

Adrian - cool letter mate. You gotta love the Japanese attention to detail and committment. No wonder they die on the job!

Matt - sensational bikes. I really, really like that Patty long. Sweetness.

Stu - fantastic tyres mate. Damn shame you can't ride that Senior Pro now though sad.gif

I'm with Rohan - lower end DB forks (Taiwanese) not Pro forks (Japanese). The single drop Pro forks always have a serial, have a fully welded cap on the bottom, and the fork tubes are totally sealed - no open drainage/welding gas hole on the bottoms, or in the steerer tube.
JMCGT
very nice Stu...always good to REALLY complete a bike...and dont worry..its only money!!
And i will keep the seats up mate,cheers..
AdrianH
Good to see you around again Kurt. What you been doing?

SHAMELESS PLUG.

If any of you guys live in the Latrobe Valley or have family and friends down here, I have started my own Lawn mowing Garden care business. man theres some Tuff choices in there.
And no I didn't vote for all the aussie bikes. Some but not all.
It took me a while but i went through all the bikes (haven't finished yet) and picked the ones I liked. I hope everyone does well. One day i'll have a ride in there. I was gonna post the Quad but i didn't think it was worthy. The goose might do ok. Bit of an odd class but. Race bike skatepark build ??
QuicksilverBMX
Well I'm not afraid to say I voted for Stu's Diamond Back, thats a very cool old schooler!

Especially with those tyres! It was very hard though because Adams NP is freakin' cool!
