Don't know if you guys know this but Marty the monster is Scott loxley who is on some old school bmx sites. he's worst memory of it was when he got beat up by a kangeroo.

sorry for outing you scott. ( I was racing with Scott in the 90's) actually he was racing, I was just trying to keep up!
COASTY
LOL I remember the Kangaroo beatings!
Mick, I used to watch a show on ABC called the magic roundabout! It was the 60's!
Also my alltime fav is AutoCat and Motor mouse.
broke L345
does anyone know much about KHS free style bikes, I think that's what it is, it has free agent stamps in the frame and forks??? no pic sorry I lent it to some one to ride around a while.Looks about 10 years old or so. hard rubbish pick up.
Sumo178
Broke German I think. I used to have a set of MKS graphite pedals copies made by them very well made.

Sorry i'm thinking KHE not KHS
COASTY
Theres a KHE freestyle bike? Theres one in the museum on RADBMX.
scratch that.
Try this Christian. They make Free agent.

AndyDiamond
hey guys - got my wheels back.
Built locally here by a guy called Tim White who has just opened a bike shop and knows about old school BMX, fixed, road, mid and new BMX...
Someone who can build wheels!

QuicksilverBMX
Nice wheelset Andy! What bike will they be going on?
AndyDiamond
AndyDiamond
Hutch Pro Racer - my rider.

Been updating it as I get better parts.

Just need some blue Hutch pads from John DeBruin and a few small tweaks to add - I have a lever sleeve to put on and a blue DC hinged clamp.

First version:

Mid version:

Current version (without new wheels):

Volcano
I like the version with Tuffs...all great variations though mate! good2.gif

Did u guys realise that the "Sat Morning cartoon" post I did were all You tube links??? biggrin.gif

lol - yeah I knew someone would say that.

Unfortunatly the rear Tuff cassette freewheel slips quite a bit which makes it unrideable - it is after all, a rider - so I gotta go allys.
I'll pots a picof it with the new wheels and stuff.
Quite like it in chrome/blue instead of the usual Hutch chrome/black etc.
AndyDiamond
PS: Thanks for posting the Battle of the Planets clip.

I had been racking my brain about what that show was called for years - I used to watch it after school but could never remember what it was called.

Volcano
Hey Andy...Im a huge fan of tuffs...LOL...so a bit bias towards them and "Battle of the Planets" was also called "G-Force"
Sumo178
Mick do you know what the "G" stands for?

They also released a comic book series a few years back. I have every issue. Awesome.
84profile
Nice wheels Andy, I reckon those hubs were very underated BITD and now...I'd like to pick myself some up one day...why?..just because..
Volcano
Hey Jake - Nope...what does it stand for?
Sumo178
Gatchaman from the original series called "Kagaku ninja tai Gatchaman" what we got was the westrenised version of it.
Jarvi
No cartoons for me yesterday, however I did get out to the skatepark and took a few photos. Newest member of the RSABOUT team in action.

Luke is about to turn 14 and only starting doing backflips on cement this week and they were perfect. More photos at the RSABOUT website.

One word...."Committed" ^^^
JMCGT
I hope he is actually spining James...LOL or flipping
and didnt just fall out of the sky like that
Jarvi
Yes it was a back flip and he rode out of it. That was was a bit weird because the first 3/4 went quickly and the last 1/4 was in slo-mo. To also give you an indication of his size, that is a size small t-shirt and look how long it is on him.
broke L345
Looks like some building is going to start at my place on the week end.

just got this back, the paint is mint how ever I am dissapointed in the color matching, it should have been more cobalty/greeny. however I am still wrapped!!

Bradster
Those wheels are nice Andy - I'm guessing they're polished alloy not chrome?!
Sumo178
Christian yeah that sucks give it to me!

I have these NOS babies on the way from the US. Might look nice?

Jarvi
Wow Christian that looks good. Any idea what the head angle is? Looks really laid back even for bikes that age.

LOL He looks a bit like a satellite returning to earth! He needed to spin around 180 degrees though to save himself!

Man I could never do flips on a trampoline, I would loose my bearings. So I think this is one thing I will never try. Well, I should have tried 20 years ago for a start!
broke L345
sorry SUMO I couldn't give it up, but I'll keep ya in mind dry.gif Those wheels are bloody nice, probably cost a truckload to post.

I have no Idea james, looks a bit like a dragster kinda ride doesn't it!
COASTY
Really nice color Christian. Lookin forward to seeing the end result!
James the kids these days have much bigger balls than we ever did. Cool pic and a great rider.
Sumo178
Christian all good I was joking anyway. The colour is all wrong and thats not good enough for me... lol

I'm not that interested in 70's bikes. G-Boy, DG and Cook Bros are the only ones I want but they are for later after i get what I really want in my collection.
broke L345
"James the kids these days have much bigger balls than we ever did"

yeah it's the pendulice effect that enables him to do that.

workin' on it this weekend biggrin.gif
Sumo178
Whats the worst that can happen to this kid? Crash face first onto solid concrete! pfffft Man i used to bunny hop over skateboards!
