Love it James. Hows it ride? Are you gonna race it or just cruise? Cool stuff.

I've only ridden it on my usual test ride which is up the footpath to the house two doors away and back. The paint on the pedals is pretty fragile and I wanted to get photos first.
I doubt I will ride it much as I have my Ambiente Bikes cruiser if I feel like a 24" ride. May go up for sale, I don't really know at the moment.

Yes Mick, really happy with all except the head tube. Will see what I can do to improve that one.
This is the latest visitor to my place. Actually it came last year and I assume has been having a bit of a doze over winter and the warm weather this week has woken him/her up. I know I will come home one day and just see the head, think it is a snake, and jump a mile. It is living in the garden a couple of metres from my front door so I do see it quite often. I first realised it was there after I heard a familiar noise just like up at Melany. The slow rustling of leaves is a dead giveaway.

Hey cool James. Southern Blotched Bluetongue. The emerge Oct/Nov from winter 'torpor' basically near hibernation. They are firey when you first catch one - but tame down very quickly with handling and make a great pet - here's our pet one "Rex". Yours looks like a female to me. She'll keep the yard free of snails.

The forks are Dyno and its got alot of Redline stuff on it. I thought it may have been earlier than 92 because of the rear dropouts and no canti mounts?

Sorry Kurt, the Zoologist in me has to butt in. Jarvi's lizard is an Eastern Blue-tongue
Tiliqua scincoides. From the description below Jarvi you're either on the Peninsula or the west? 'Although more common on the basalt plains to the west of Melbourne, Eastern Blue-tongue Lizards are also found on the Mornington Peninsula. They are usually found basking or sheltering under cover such as fallen logs, or discarded rubbish such as timber or iron.'
Nice Blotched there Kurt. I've got an Eastern and a couple of Cunninghams Skinks. Great pets. They go well with Diamond Backs and Vipers! Just don't introduce a Mongoose....

Thanks Piker. I'm in Ivanhoe so the east side of the city. If it ever annoys me I'll just catch it and head over to Waza's to scare the crap out of it. So many Mongooses to chase it around then.
Appears to live in the agapanthus. Just needed to clarify as you were giving the impression that I probably live in a jungle or scrap metal yard.

Thankfully no damage at my place...but up the road two cars were crushed flat by falling trees!!! Very full on storm...

Wow Martin, a few of those names one your list surprise me..I've dealt with a few of them with no drama's...Not questioning it, just surprised...wonder if their economy woes are transmitting through...(not that our economy is all roses)...
Also on that front (weak economies), I had what I thought was a ridiculously low snipe in on this and it appears that I was the second place bidder!..I think this would have gone for twice the price 6-12 months ago (even though it's the less desirable Series 2)

Should have been working this morning however I looked at the forecast for the next few days and cloudy and showers each day. Nice down here today so I grabbed some photos of the 87 Haro Sport I bought from Serva a while back. Used to be a rider until I decided I preferred my new school bikes.
Set the self timer and grabbed a photo just to prove I do wear brands other than RSABOUT. then thought, hang on I can ride this one so why not grab some photos.

Hi guys, I just posted this is it's own thread, but wanted to make sure you all catch it, please feel free to post elsewhere and spread the word.....
BMX Bandits 25th Anniversary Celebrations.
The guys from 2020 magazine are putting together a celebration for the 25th Anniversary of BMX Bandits this coming Sunday Nov 23rd, at THE place where the opening scenes of the movie were shot - Manly Beach! As part of the Manly Youth centre birthday, starting 10am right opposite the Manly Corso they'll be bands, a ramp jam, a vintage bike display (bring your bikes!), giveaways, competitions, a possible appearance by Nicole Kidman (although her management haven't confirmed...), and lots lots more! All finishing up with a screening of the film late arvo/early evening at the Manly Youth Centre.
Apoligies for late notice but it's been a nightmare for the guys to pull together (councils, permits, red tape, Nicoles' management....).
More info as it comes to hand will be posted at -
www.2020bmxmag.com.au

Nov 17 2008, 04:38 AM
Nicole's management told me she's still in promo-mode all across USA & Europe flogging the 'Australia' movie.
Not sure if she'd be available to the Anniversary, as nice as it would be to have her there, it's not promoting anything about her today or making money for anyone....sad but true.
Hey, if you add something about the 'Australia' movie at Manly, maybe she'll come over then ;-)
I've had plans for some time now for Nicole to make an appearance or at least a photo or 2 here'n'there.
Although i've since gained an insider who can steer her my way, and things are taking shape finally ;-)
