I've just caught up on the last few pages...interesting stuff...
I have to agree drivers in Queensland are terrible, massively agressive and lane hogs from hell...I find the quickest way to Brissy is straight up the left lane on the M1!...cause all the clowns that think they own the road are in lanes 3 and 4 chugging along a 95k's...totally frustrating...
Having grown up in Canberra, the roads are pretty perfect, however the one thing people do well is know how to use roundabouts and they also stay in the left lane when not overtaking. I've been in Queensland since 1993 and everyday I'm amazed at the antics of drivers...so take it easy Kurt...
Oh and if you are about I will be at Ashmore track from about 6.30 tomorrow night (Tuesday) on my Hutch for practice..it'd be great to catch up...unfortunately, I'm so busy right now... it is the only time I will be about. We are moving into our new house in 3 weeks time...all my bikes are boxed up...all except the Hutch...

oh one more horror road rage story...I was on my MTB a few years back on the GC hwy and some clowns pegged an egg at me going at like 80kph's (I know what you are think John, might have been Karma from our teenage years! But we never threw them at people!)...it hit me square in the back and freakin hurt like hell! I was so pizzed off, so I cranked my azz off to catch up the traffic lights, they were banging away to Metallica with the windows right down and had no clue that I had caught up, so I gulged a huge mouth full of red Gatorade out of my bike bottle and whatever else was in my mouth (ewwww) and sprayed straight in the windows across all the passengers...whilst all the onlookers at Burleigh Heads watched on....now I'm not a vindictive person, but it still gives brings a smile to my face...young punks got a bit of their own back!!!

Ohhhh noooo Stu! That is funny, well now anyway! Yeah eggs make very good missiles (that sounds strange to say at our age but it seemed right when I was young and stupid), but not at people! Try and crush a fresh egg with your hands from top to bottom. Not easy! So if you get pegged with one and it hits you on the end, it's not much different from a rock!
Good work to catch them mate! You should go back to racing!

Well, since John is calling this one the Generations of Freestyle he is includeing current riders as well, I know John has interviewed a few mates since he got here including, Dave Mirra, Ryan Guettler, Colin Mackay Luke Parslow, Mike Dominguez, Eddie Fiola, Brian Blyther, Rich Sigur, Tony Murray, Dave Voelker, Woody Itson, Andy Showahara, Ben Snowden, Scott Twifford, Mike Harrison, Sean Logan, Chad Johnson, Robert Castillo, Mike Perenti, Rob Nollie, Daniel Dhares and hopefully Wednesday night Bob Haro if he can make it for dinner. A few others are Todd Anderson, Ron Wilkerson, Martin Apajrio, Dave Nourie, Maurice Meyer and Scotty Freeman to name a few.
Its not in stone yet, this is going to be alot of work and by spreading the word around Australia this could only help.
Xavier
Kurt.

Tange gripsHehe, I got home from work today, to find a box waiting for me. In it was a black Uni Hammerhead, and a pair of NOS black bubble font A'me Tris. On top of that, the seller had thrown in a pair of NOS black A'me rounds as well. Not bubble fonts, but nice grips all the same. Very kind!
