Finally put my sons feestyler on the road. I need some freestyle brakes in chrome ,silver or black. The cable guides are on the wrong side. I also need a smaller chainring. 45 is a bit large! other than that it feels really good. it'll give me some else to ride until he grows a little. Thanks for the tires too Scott. They ride good and are fine for us.

Thats a nice collection you have there Roy. Nerang is a cool place, it's a lot different now compared to a few years ago. I have a few mates up around your way too. I have no idea what that red frame is of yours. I got the forks wrong too. I didnt look at the pics too well. Just read the discription. Oh well, it's the weekend. I'm off for a dip in the pool.

It's a candy red over silver powdercoat. In the sun it sparkles real nice. The silver shines through better. Done by Nerang powdercoating. Palings court , Nerang. Wayne is really cool guy too. I clean his car and he powders my frames. Bata is good!

Candy red....mmmm..bet that looks does look good. Thanks prosight. That JMC is owned by Steve Smith from the "JUST TRIX" trick team from back in the 80's. I'm helping him restore it. He used to jump cars on this one. Do you guys know of any swap meets or gatherings for old bmx bikes around south east Queensland? Allways interested in finding old parts.

Yeah guys...that haro was repowder coated along time ago. It was a 1 owner bike and the owner changed the colour scheme twice before it became this colour. He did tell me that he wrote to haro along time ago and requested 1 set of replacment decals for the frame...haro sent him 2 sets, so he had a couple of colour changes. It has some awefull welding at the bottom of the seat post tube(cracked)....but it's only metal...it can ALLWAYS be repaired. I'll get in touch with the originall owner and ask what colour it started out as. I think he said it was green?

Yeah I just looked a the pic again. Thats a nasty lookin weld on there. Easy fix though. i had a master the same that someone cut the seatube down to get a clamp off! The things some people do!
OldSkoolRoy
Oct 1 2005, 05:17 PM
I know what you mean. I've got a gt here with the seat post clamp area butchered with a cut down the front and the back all the way to the weld of the top tube and about 30mm cut off the top????? Don't know why they did it but as you said....The things some people do!

LATEST PROJECT
1982 Redline MXIII (NZ made).
Original frame was pitted, flaking, dull chrome - not good.
Got a white powder job done on it with new repop decals.
Paint job not 100% due to condition of frame but looks good.
I have NOS red parts for this to build it up.
