When will my ability catch up with my ambition?

My last jump before heading home and that happens. Everytime I go over these two sets of doubles they send my sidways and this time not enough to recover from the first one and down I went. Not happy.

Hey Dave - Welcome to the site!

As Glenn said - one more Qlder to the list.
I hope you have deep pockets...LOL. This obsession...oops...I mean hobby can easily comsume you he he
GT's are cool - i just picked up a frame recently that needs an OA dip but should be OK.
About the attachments - if you have Photoshop use the "save for web" function - it drops the file size down heaps.
Hey Waz, how many "DPI" do you recommend for file sizes...LOL
Hey Roberto and the Sausage King - when's the next gathering???

I need my fix and coasty says he can beat Gary in the bunny-hop comp!
Jarvi - see that's why PJ, Goose n Judy never had battle scars like you...elbow pads! Did you tell people you were out-running the cops?
Hey Kurt - We don't forget you! Think of the monoploy you have on all the NOS parts in Tassie! (if you haven't already sourced em all

)
Enjoy the site Dave...

Jarvi:
Rule #1.....never have "just one more jump before i go home" it's always the one that bites you.
I've lost count of all the riders who have ALL broken something due to "just one more".
I was talking about this with the oldies at the Vic titles, and we were all comparing injuries of who-did-what during a "just one more" session.....
Never again ;-)

Yes probably good advice there Mr.BMX. Have actually done more damage than I thought because I can hardly walk. Something wring with my lower back. Damn I must be getting old.
Can't wait until May Robert. One of the best days I've had even though I didn't have a bike to ride. Next time I might just bring something to ride and I'll just pretend one of the show bikes is mine.

Jarvi, here's my osteopaths number. he usually puts me back together very quickly( as you know I broke my back at south eastern years ago). just mention Christian the bowen therapist and he'll help you out 'cause he's usually booked out 3 months in advance and I think he's running a closed book at the moment, not taking on new clients. he's in glen iris.

Thanks Christian. Will keep the number but the back feels better today. A couple of drugs last night and lying down might have fixed it. Not actually sure the back problem was accident related as I think I had that earlier. Just put it down to general aches and pains.

Hey GUN-808, go into your control panel here on VBMX and delete the existing attachments that you've posted.
Also, drop the image size - the "DPI" or dots per inch. In Photoshop you can "save for web" which is awesome for this type of application.
Hope this helps...

Hi all just dropping by to let you all know that the vintage and old school BMX comunity has been invited to put on a display at the 08 BMX Games. Details are scarce at the moment but i will be updating the following thread with all the details as soon as i get them.
08 BMX Games Gathering/DisplayLast years was great and we even got a few bikes and Pete Porker on Fuel TV so if you can make it this year you will not be dissapointed.
Cheers

14 inches of safety, Jarvi

also probably the dearest component on the bike

they did feel like a big bike. back in '82 i had one and it was spot on as i was 17 then. Stu and Jeff Ruminer were over 6' and seemed to be successful on them. probably the laid back seat post angle makes them feel bigger than they really are. amazingly, i am more comfortable on this frame than my 2004 redline 24.
Redline must have got it right in 1981 as that particular frame survived up til about 1988, though by then it was called a 800p.
thanks for the nice replies and i'm well proud how this one turned out, especially after what it looked like before Robert weaved his magic.

hey quicky , maybe because to some of "US" its the building thats the attraction , then the bikes get sold to fund other bikes .
my blue PK sold today for $1850 , that should sort the cash out for another few unfinished bones

i have actually bought 2 frames and sold 1 frame and some parts to "brisrocker" , he's a good guy and bloody honest too . do none of you's know him ? ... maybe JC might ?
