I was looking for a black pre-bent dia-compe lever for what seemed like an eternity...I never found one...the solution was to re-anodise a gold one to black... it worked out a treat..you don't need to remove the pivot rivot as it is alloy and the nylon piece will not be effected....
QuicksilverBMX
Yeah I might have to use a pre bent, I have heaps of those in different colours.
Bradster
Reece, I've got some NOS Gold pre-bent levers, if you get stuck and don't have that colour??? I straightened another pair of them out, they turned out pretty good too!
QuicksilverBMX
thanks Brad, I have a few gold ones here, just not tech 3 or 4!
Mattblack
I know some of you do venture out but Someone might be able to help me

does anyone know anything about "joy tech"??? low flange hubs. I think that's what it says, they are on the old mongoose wheels with the holes and foil.

thanks
HowardinOz
Glad I'm not bothering with one of the new PK's.

What's with the 'ding' in the stay?

Haven't noticed it in any of the other pic's!
prosight
it's so you don't get chain wheel rub.........
HowardinOz
Thanks Chris...I knew that...I just didn't see it on any of the other pic's.
I thought they might have been able to engineer it a little better?
That's just plain ugly!
QuicksilverBMX

So Howard, was it you that was at Rockford? Anyone know who it was or did I miss a page somewhere?
I've spent most of today (sickie) sitting in the sun going through my BMX Plus/BMXA collection. I'm all read out.
QuicksilverBMX
That moosegoose is in North Perth and you can go and look at it if you want or so the seller says
HowardinOz
Nope....not me Glenn?
Where is Rockford anyway?
I was in Cincinatti, Chicago, LA, Vegas, Virginia and Chandler Arizona. I drove past the Chandler BMX club but it was around 120oF outside and there was no way I was getting out of the truck to get a pic of sand!
