has anyone got a set of mongoose fork stickers they don't want? it's for a 1979 motomag which, i think, is the black font on the green back ground. let me know if you've got one or if the colour i've described is wrong for that year.

Seeing as we were on Hutch yesterday, here's a really old photo of my chrome Hutch. I've reprioritised this project in favour of a killer black one due out this Christmas (I hope).
This photo is nearly 3 years old. Will be building the chrome one eventually but not quite like this. Thought I'd share it anyway . . .

Thanks Glenn. It's got Hutch grips, Hutch headset (!!!), Hutch Pro bars, Hutch deep-H stem, Hutch pedals, Hutch mag/Ti hubs, Hutch seat post, Hutch seat post clamp, Hutch pads, Hutch stadium plate. Since this shot, I've sourced Hutch Rad Kaps and some other goodies.
Can't wait for the black one.

Nice and shiny with lashings of chrome. Just as a hutch should be. But I was expecting to see you doing a wheelie on it!

Matt & I will spare no expense on rebuilding
"The 6,000,000 Peso Hutch"
Bigger better stronger & faster than ever.
Only the best solder , duct tape , hose clamps & car engine bay rubber tubes will be used to rebuild this frame , after it was almost killed during a terrible experimental air speed record attempt , that went horribly wrong.....It is still only barely alive.

Have you guys gone freakin' Hutch mad!! haha-well there's always a rough diamond in the crowd-here it is, my low buck pro-racer, frame/fork was found at the tip by a mate-he said "I think a 6 pack of bourbon is a fair swap" who am I to argue! Turns out to be a MCS built non-serial no unit, oxalic bath, repo decals and some 2nd hand bits-she's an old school ripper! I ride this one quite a bit!!
If only I had a XL24 to go with it....anyone????

Nothing to apologise with that Hutch build Bradster. In fact that is more like what I used to race, ie one piece cranks, and it's only because the disposable income is a bit more now that I went with flights on mine. The other big name parts on mine were all reasonably priced and I was lucky to get an original chrome frame, forks, decals in great shape. Can't remember all the Hutch parts back then as I stopped before most of them came out so I wasn't tempted to go all out.

Chris,
John de Bruin (go-away) is coming out with Hutch cages that are the correct thickness and reasonably priced.

Sometimes I'll see a particular bike and it's enough to inspire another build. This photo did it for me.

just to let you's know on the floval saga ...
i launched a paypal dispute as i said , next day i had 3 emails from the seller saying that he had family problems and he was absolutely apologetic about the whole thing .... nevertheless i paid 2 1/2 weeks ago and he posted it on the 26/7/7 express (2 days ago).
i am sympathetic over family dramas but we have all heard that before . i actually believe the guy as he has bombarded me with emails in the last 2-3 days .
hopefully this is a happy SE transaction for the OZZY .
