Hey James, nice catching up today. I also want to thankyou for the cranks and sticker's. The wheels I just built I had to take apart in sorts just to get the rim decals on, they look sweet. I also pollished one crank arm and it has come up sweet. Thanks again mate and remember to email me with anything. John
Jarvi
Good to also meet you, thanks for the goodies and sorry for throwing the 20 questions at you. Be warned though, as I think about the answers there will be more questions. Expect an email in the next few days...

Martin, I also had problems with that seller. Provided a US address, was told it had to be linked to PayPal so organised for the US based person to pay and then was told the PayPal account had to be linked to my ebay account. After a quick ebay lesson as to how that is not possible as a buyer, we mutually agreed to stop the transaction. So whilst it was a hassle, the result was fine. And I managed to get the same tyre a week or so later.

Hey guys, went to the local BMX track tonight for my first ride in almost 20 years!!! Had an absoloute blast but boy it was a lot harder that I gave it credit for, it's all jumps/whoops nowdays!!! The ELF cruiser did me proud and got a few curious looks from the kids! Was so wound up before I went that I forgot the digi camera, will get some 'action' (haha) shots on my next ride, probably next Thursday!
QuicksilverBMX
Should come riding Friday night Brad, there'll be 4 Mooses there for the ride + yours would make 5!
rsrichie
I didnt realise that Moose roamed the wild in WA, Man the things you learn on this site!

Hey James, seems we had the same thing happen.

I don't really NEED a NOS black Kashimax seat . . . but . . . I do need it. LOL

who else is going to st Kilda tomorrow? or is every one going to warrigal track? I'll be at St Kilda.
ROBERTO
Social Ride in Brisbane on Anzac day.

Everyone welcome.

Meet 9:30am under the Story Bridge (south side).

There's a pub near bye if anyone get's tired of riding.
Jarvi
Roberto I'll be in touch on Tuesday to work things out.

Racing in Melbourne was at an old school track in Warragul. Even I was jumping the doubles and tabletop. A great track. I pulled out the S&M Dirt Bike complete with one tuff on the front. Dugga had his retro Quad, Mark had his Diamond Back stickered Quicksilver. Didn't get many photos though.

broke L345

I'm sorry for any doubles!

good to see you guys in warrigal had a good day!
Mr.BMX
Looks like some great "unfamiliar" bikes appearing at St.Kilda...
So, is anyone going to give a rundown of 'who owns what' and who won other placings?

Warrigul was an ace day, good too see old dudes and old bikes brought back to life on the track, including the very lost art of sidehacking ;-)
I think most (all?) of the vbmx crew took home dirt samples today, but good to see nobody left behind any bone samples ;-)

I found these in an outer-area oldschool shop, damn good for $70 ($5each, regardless of style), i grabbed what i needed and got outta there, coolio!

Ride Hard.
dugga
yeah warragul was awesome fun....I wish I could have been at St. Kilda too. Well done broke - your torker and DG are way cool.
Some pics from Warragul:

Mr.BMX
To the PM's i got tonight, the LEFTmost blue goose pad (long and thin) is a Kos Kruiser Handlebar pad.....
The thicker ones (blue & yellow, next to eachother) are the standard frame pads.

hope that helps

That CW Phaze 1 with them HUGE bars on it brings back some memories , all sorts of talk & whispers were going around @ Metro West BMX tack when Johnny Harris turned up on one bitd , was it strong ? was it dangerous ? Should they ban the frame because of the sharp Z bit's or have padding fitted , the normal Xenophobia....

Were the CW bars better than the GT Pro bars , no.
I had a sit on Harris's bike that night & they made the bike feel like I was driving a bus or a truck , they still do now.
The biggest problem was the bar width in scrutineering , he ended up having to cut off the ends of his hand grips & cover the exposed steel with tape to pass the maxium bar width measurement....that guy was like Troy Gibbons , either of them could win a race against anyone in their class even if they were riding a dragster with nobby tires....

That TA looks pretty slick as well , nice to see Ted's campy flanges turning up all over the place on all sorts of bikes.....

ROBERTO
Looks like a great time fellas.
AndyDiamond
I see some NZ made Panthas there - Paul K?
Jarvi
Yes all great bikes there. I like the look of the blue Kuwahara back in the first bunch of pictures. Just something different. Now don't laugh at me but I thought the woman in the first picture on this page had Torker printed on the lower back of her top.
ACGTO
Rob - That's the PK Ripper I'll be sending up to you in a couple of weeks. Built it as I had nowhere to put that parts I had for it.
broke L345
thanks guys

best original crossrider
runner up trevs bike with the hutch forks, sorry Trev, I have totally forgotten what it was, I've nevr seen one before.( what a retard I am )

best restored my candy red torker

runner up the 20'" pantha, great story behind that bike how cool is it.

there were some sweet bikes there, how are ACGTO's white collection all the number 17 bikes. shame there weren't more people there. But it was pretty cool getting there and seeing bikes that I've never seen in the flesh before, like the CW, the panthas, Trevs bike, wazas short framed 76 goose, was funny seing him ride it around his knees were around his ears and his feet were touching the front tire when he pedalled and turned.

good to see people there.

cool score with the pads.

dugga looks like you ate jumping beans before you raced. shame the two things were on the same day "bugger". V dad I'll be getting to the Eastfield track on Sat, will you be going?
Jarvi
ACGTO, those are some fine looking bikes. I love white frames because you can do so much with them like you have and base the parts around the sticker colours.
caferacer
Looks like a good little turn out. Good to see a JMC in there and who is that strange man in a white t-shirt and jeans in the photos ?
ACGTO
I'm a pretty happy lad tonight. Used to race Redlines BITD and a Proline Carerra F/F turned up today. Unpacked it and it's amazing. I'm a kid again for a night. Off for re-chroming soon and another #17 build.

Looking forward to meeting everyone at the next show.

Also had a NOS ET Number Plate arrive tonight as well as NOS WIN Bars for the ET. If anyone is doing an ET build let me know.

Hey guys do these seem legit, particularly wondering because the stem pad i have here has black foam.

By the way is it just me or the angle of that pic, or do the red and blue stem pads seem shorter than the yellow one.
Mr.BMX
Fake dude!
bullyhotrod86jh
Cool, so thats my suspicions proven I guess, oh well may still put a bid on them if i can get it for like 10 bucks, haha. Just make sure i do something like right fake across the underside if i did get them.
Kurt.
Wow - looks like a great show - very impressive. And talk about torn - the guys look like they had a great day at the track. Big weekend fellas, nice one!
OldSkoolRoy
Wow!! There's some nice bikes in those photo's. Congrat's to all that went....(what? no Pattersons.LOL)
mcam
Nice bikes Looks like a great show!

What happened to the cruiser section?
QuicksilverBMX
Roy did you get the crisp yet?
OldSkoolRoy
Thanks Reece...IT'S AWESOME! I just love the look of it.
Piker
Nice DB Med Pro a few pages back Proline.

I would have had my Sen Pro at St. Kilda had i not been in Sydney!

Was posted in the old aussie thread last year, but thought i'd pop in again to boost the DB. Were there any DB's at St. Kilda?

Still trawling for a padset if anyone can help?
HowardinOz
Got bored at work today!

Mr.BMX
Nice Howard, that will hold a LOT of toast ;-)
HowardinOz
Lol! Yeah....I like toast!

Got sick of the kid's bikes laying around the back door.
I needed the TIG'ing practice.
ROBERTO
That is really neat Howard. You should get bored more often.
84profile
Awesome bike, Piker....I've got one in the works, should be almost idenitical to that one, just with black parts!! Head off to Hong Kong for work tomorrow, and I will be checking all random bike shops for parts...but me thinks that Martin, will have beaten me to it!

ps thanks for organising the cruise yesterday Roberto, excellent fun dude! You have still go the skills going on!
COASTY
Nice job there Howard. I could do with some of those myself. I really gotta get me a welder.
Bradster
Howard, looks to be an opening in the market for some bike rack 'kits'. Threaded ends on the hoop tubing and flush mounted thru bolts to attach them to the main frame, numourous location points for different bike sizes/preferences etc. No excuses for being bored at work now!! Nice engineering there!
