Hey James, nice catching up today. I also want to thankyou for the cranks and sticker's. The wheels I just built I had to take apart in sorts just to get the rim decals on, they look sweet. I also pollished one crank arm and it has come up sweet. Thanks again mate and remember to email me with anything. John

Good to also meet you, thanks for the goodies and sorry for throwing the 20 questions at you. Be warned though, as I think about the answers there will be more questions. Expect an email in the next few days...
Martin, I also had problems with that seller. Provided a US address, was told it had to be linked to PayPal so organised for the US based person to pay and then was told the PayPal account had to be linked to my ebay account. After a quick ebay lesson as to how that is not possible as a buyer, we mutually agreed to stop the transaction. So whilst it was a hassle, the result was fine. And I managed to get the same tyre a week or so later.

Hey guys, went to the local BMX track tonight for my first ride in almost 20 years!!! Had an absoloute blast but boy it was a lot harder that I gave it credit for, it's all jumps/whoops nowdays!!! The ELF cruiser did me proud and got a few curious looks from the kids! Was so wound up before I went that I forgot the digi camera, will get some 'action' (haha) shots on my next ride, probably next Thursday!

Looks like some great "unfamiliar" bikes appearing at St.Kilda...
So, is anyone going to give a rundown of 'who owns what' and who won other placings?
Warrigul was an ace day, good too see old dudes and old bikes brought back to life on the track, including the very lost art of sidehacking ;-)
I think most (all?) of the vbmx crew took home dirt samples today, but good to see nobody left behind any bone samples ;-)
I found these in an outer-area oldschool shop, damn good for $70 ($5each, regardless of style), i grabbed what i needed and got outta there, coolio!

To the PM's i got tonight, the LEFTmost blue goose pad (long and thin) is a Kos Kruiser Handlebar pad.....
The thicker ones (blue & yellow, next to eachother) are the standard frame pads.
hope that helps

That CW Phaze 1 with them HUGE bars on it brings back some memories , all sorts of talk & whispers were going around @ Metro West BMX tack when Johnny Harris turned up on one bitd , was it strong ? was it dangerous ? Should they ban the frame because of the sharp Z bit's or have padding fitted , the normal Xenophobia....
Were the CW bars better than the GT Pro bars , no.
I had a sit on Harris's bike that night & they made the bike feel like I was driving a bus or a truck , they still do now.
The biggest problem was the bar width in scrutineering , he ended up having to cut off the ends of his hand grips & cover the exposed steel with tape to pass the maxium bar width measurement....that guy was like Troy Gibbons , either of them could win a race against anyone in their class even if they were riding a dragster with nobby tires....
That TA looks pretty slick as well , nice to see Ted's campy flanges turning up all over the place on all sorts of bikes.....

Yes all great bikes there. I like the look of the blue Kuwahara back in the first bunch of pictures. Just something different. Now don't laugh at me but I thought the woman in the first picture on this page had Torker printed on the lower back of her top.

best original crossrider
runner up trevs bike with the hutch forks, sorry Trev, I have totally forgotten what it was, I've nevr seen one before.( what a retard I am )
best restored my candy red torker
runner up the 20'" pantha, great story behind that bike how cool is it.
there were some sweet bikes there, how are ACGTO's white collection all the number 17 bikes. shame there weren't more people there. But it was pretty cool getting there and seeing bikes that I've never seen in the flesh before, like the CW, the panthas, Trevs bike, wazas short framed 76 goose, was funny seing him ride it around his knees were around his ears and his feet were touching the front tire when he pedalled and turned.
good to see people there.
cool score with the pads.
dugga looks like you ate jumping beans before you raced. shame the two things were on the same day "bugger". V dad I'll be getting to the Eastfield track on Sat, will you be going?

ACGTO, those are some fine looking bikes. I love white frames because you can do so much with them like you have and base the parts around the sticker colours.

I'm a pretty happy lad tonight. Used to race Redlines BITD and a Proline Carerra F/F turned up today. Unpacked it and it's amazing. I'm a kid again for a night. Off for re-chroming soon and another #17 build.
Looking forward to meeting everyone at the next show.
Also had a NOS ET Number Plate arrive tonight as well as NOS WIN Bars for the ET. If anyone is doing an ET build let me know.

linklink2Hey guys do these seem legit, particularly wondering because the stem pad i have here has black foam.
By the way is it just me or the angle of that pic, or do the red and blue stem pads seem shorter than the yellow one.

Nice DB Med Pro a few pages back Proline.
I would have had my Sen Pro at St. Kilda had i not been in Sydney!

Was posted in the old aussie thread last year, but thought i'd pop in again to boost the DB. Were there any DB's at St. Kilda?
Still trawling for a padset if anyone can help?

Howard, looks to be an opening in the market for some bike rack 'kits'. Threaded ends on the hoop tubing and flush mounted thru bolts to attach them to the main frame, numourous location points for different bike sizes/preferences etc. No excuses for being bored at work now!! Nice engineering there!
