Okay. I was going to ask about the maxi. It looks like it basically came that way BITD. Coaster brake Tuff II, black steel bars and stem, alloy post, tange clamp and MKS pedals. I am not sure about the post or clamp but it looks like it never had hand brakes. Anyone know how they came or have any pics? Basically I am going to get the frame, bars and stem powdered(Roberto, I will send the other one soon.) I am part way through restoring the Tuffs, I will have to get a new seat(Kashimax mx) new grips, chain and tyres and it it will basically be restored. Having trouble getting the stem out. Its stuck bad.

Hey guys, just wanted to say this BMX community here is awesome.

A few weeks ago I posted seeking some tyre swaps, both Rohan and Reece helped out and the deals were done. Could not have been easier and with no dramas, top blokes to deal with and I hope that I can find stuff to help others out as well.

Also brings me back to early in the old Aussie thread when I was seeking a powdercoater. Scotty directed me to Rob (master powdercoater) and not a more perfect job could be done, so big thanks to Scotty for good advice and Rob for an awesome job.

What I am getting at here is that in todays world 'generally' everyone is out for themselves, screwin people down to the last dollar, not willing to share secrets or deals and so on, but when I come here its a bunch of mates helpin each other out..... even if you dont know them.

Cheers to you all.

Now so this dont think that I've gone faggy. Beer is awesome, cars are awesome, bmx is awesome and chicks are awesome.
Jarvi
Howard there are a few nice parts on that bike. Now idea what the frame is though.

Ozzy, didn't ask as I heard the rider had done a few big jumps on the bike and wasn't sure what condition it would be in.

As for GT builds, blue is the best way to go and maybe throw one or two gold pieces in there for good measure.
Stu Thomsen
Jersey says Standish. Are you in this photo from March 1981.
Jarvi
Stu, I wish I could say yes but unforuntately I can't. I'm sure some of the guys will be in there though.
QuicksilverBMX
Very Nice GT's fella's!

My next project is very close to completion, no pics for now as the frame is off at the chromers!
OldSkoolRoy
Howard....
The forks look very "Crisp" but i just can't remember what the frame looked like. Someone should be able to ID it. (it's got some good bits on it)
STU....
I'm not in that pic. Have you got any from Windsor in Brisbane? You know Stu....the place where the gate didn't drop and everyone went over the bars!!

Yeah, as a noob I'm getting a good vibe from this thread, seems like the os BMX (aussie) crew is fairly moderate in numbers and we need to work together to keep it alive! Well that's what I tell my wife after yet another 'necessary' ebay purchase!!
Ok-what time is the girlie show!!!
QuicksilverBMX
I definatley was not in that pic, I never got to the east until 1999

Your kidding me waza!!! Have you found an abandoned Mongoose factory somewhere here in OZ? Are those sprocket spiders mongoose too? I'm allways amazed at the things you come up with. Lucky bugger LOL.

Actually, I'm a bit worried about our good mate Wazza....

Those 2 moosegooses on ebay Aus...

I smell schill bidding, why would the same bidder bid on BOTH bikes? and the fact that the only 2 bidders on both bikes have less than 10 feedback.

I'm not trying to start sh!t, but something doesnt smell right......
