John, I've just realised that we have spoken over the phone. My name is James if that rings a bell. Marc at Strictly would have given you my number. I have the white Haro Sport that you saw and asked about the stickers. Small world...
As for what I have been doing, raced both days and stayed upright for all races. I'm lovin' it again, until the next injury.

Hey Waza, or anyone else who can assist in Oz.
I want to build up a 24" old school rider. Tried to get a few frames on eBay, but the competition is HOT!
Anyone with a F/F or parts they want to sell/swap, get in touch. I've got a nice restored 81 goose and unrestored Hotfoot if anyone is interested.
Cheers folks

Piker - I have a Mongoose Pro Class 24" frame fork and bars.
Wouldn't be cheap though - bars are ultra hard to find.

hey piker, there aint no messin around herebud, ya hangin wit the big boys now.
it all comes down to how much coin you want to throw around, and dude, on a good day us guys can lay down enough ch-ching in here to alter the economy.
what are you looking for, all new or just a rider, what sort of rider, high or low end, martins floval would be a nice score.
how much would martin be chargin for that there floval?
martin?, anybody?

I would accept any reasonable offer.
I'm usually on the buying end of things. I put that bike together to be a rider but I've been a mountain biker for over 15 years now - just can't get used to the old stuff again. I love blitzing it at high speed in the rough stuff . . . aka Nomad aka VP Free for you mountain bikers out there.

v8ute,
Looking for a 24" f/f i guess, but willing to think about whole bikes if anyone wants to move one. I'd prefer something from my youth, so old school prefered, not too fussy on condition as it will be ridden, but obviously a good condition ride is preferable. The amount of ch-ching i can blow on old school bling will depend on what i can get past the funds administrator!
While i'm on here....shame about the old thread getting shut down. I've learn't heaps there over the past couple of years. Thanks to you all for the top content! Hopefully this one will go on too.....

Yeah Brad - if you look on Talk there's a link from RaceInc to a thread before Christmas. The UK Tuffs had bolted rather than riveted hubs and were only made for a short period. 99% of Tuffs were made in California.

Jan 25 2007, 09:40 PM
The UK also made those 'Andy Patterson' signature Tuffs.
None of the US guys have ever heard of them before.
