I think most people love it mate. Don't worry about the haters!
Kurt.
Here's another US one:

ROBERTO
Hey the bmx calendar is out !!

Is that Leroy's Hutch I see in there ?
proline2
hey kosi that 24 looks awesome. congrats on yer dream. i think i helped finance it LOL
Kurt.
Bit surprised there's not a certain Profile in there - or Lewis' 4 DBs. Is that Waza's Kuwie ET too?

Here's another US Cycle Pro:
Kurt.
What's with all the high end stuff up on the bay at the moment. I assume "Dirkdiggler" is a member here?
Mr.BMX
Kurt:
Grab all the gumwalls you can mate, they look far better than blackwalls anyday.
Tioga stopped production on gumwall comp3's around 2 years ago, so what you see in shops is *it*.....grabbem all dude ;-)
Mr.BMX
Ok Luis, as for my 'wow factor' bikes, i spend most of my $$ on getting the correct parts etc, and i refuse to post a 1/2 made 'wow' bike, until it's 100% complete.....

My 'survivors' are 'wow' enough for me at the moment, and get jaws dropping at the shows.

Your Kos or GT would be wow factor, but that "repco pro?" post just ISN'T a wow bike dude, look at the components and colour co-ordination.
You'd get more wow from a supermax.
KOSY-MOTO
GHeez Marty.. I never thought you were that nevy/jealous kind person...... this just goes to show your respect to the whole game of BMX of building no matter what kinda bike it is!

All the best!

C'mon guys, do we really want the rest of the world to think all we do is ***** about things. One of the reasons many of us got into BMX was that it is an individual sport. We can do what we want, build what we want, in any colour we want. There is no correct part or incorrect part.

If others like our choices then great, if they don't then so be it.

Luis - the bike looks RAD.

That Kuwahara head set is way over priced.
They were never standard on BMX stuff.
Pretty sure that is a road cycle headset.
$100?
No way.

Kurt - the Cheng Shins are great tyres.
The skinwalls are proper skinwalls, not 'gum walls' like the cheap copies.
The colour of the skinwall is more like the older Comp IIIs too.
The Rainbow Comp IIIs have a lighter skinwall.
The tread pattern is almost indentical to the Comp III exccept for a thicker seam running through the centre knobbies and a couple of bands on the outsides of the 2.125 tyres.

I have a set of fat/skinnys on my Redline and a set of 24" x 1.75s on the Hutch XL24 (see pics).

dirkdiggler on ebay AU - is that you Prosight?
AndyDiamond
Oh yeah - just scored this looptail Mini Ripper.

It has Landing Gear Lites in nice shape (good chrome).

Frame is polished alloy and has a few scratches, usual rear drop out wear but no cracks etc.

Real nice!

Junk parts though.

Mr.BMX
Luis:
Can you READ what i've said, and learn that i'm NOT envious or Jealous in any form??????
Why do you keep repeating that over and over dude ??????
If you're gonna hate me for having an opinion, then so be it.

Reece:
Are you gonna speak up and add to the shyte like you always do, or just quote stuff hehehe ;-)

Andy:
Nice pics mate, good to see another quality SE score too.
prosight
OK all
build what you like when you like how you like

Reece if you have something to say just say it Marty did why cant you?
if i remember you were outta here but came back just remember why, u did not like what was going on then so why would you fire this one up more,
i think it's a nice build maybe not my cuppa tea but it's not my bike and i would not know if its a repco or cycle pro

sometimes it just better to keep you fingers in your pocket and opinions to your self
prosight
oh and a mini ripper WoooHoooo
Kurt.
Are any of you fellas in touch with Anthony (v8ute)? Is he away at the moment? - have tried e:mailing him but no answer.

Go play with your cars, i dont have time for your tripe. I dont have to answer to you or anyone else.
Kurt.
Hey Andy,

Thanks for that info on the Cheng Shins. There's a rack of 8 x 2.125s at one shop that I'm picking up, as well as some skinny's at another bike shop. I thought they looked pretty good.

Nice mini Ripper there too mate - those things must be featherweights.
COASTY
Nice ripper Andy. I saw that one and figured you would probably get it. Nice.
I'm gonna be needing some of those tires soon Kurt. Grab em all!
broke L345
just wacked a set of tuffs on my cruiser, rides a little different but looks mean. now, I hate when you haven't ridden for a while then you get back to tracks and all the jumps look bigger somehow. I used to jump the first step up at eastfield in my sleep and the first and seccond jumps at south eastern but are they bigger now or are my balls smaller??Trying to start a tuff revival
Kurt.
Looks cool Broke,

I'm building up my Repco 24 as a rider for my wife (yeah I know there's a line there) and will be putting tuffs on it.
HowardinOz
Lol! Kurt...we're not going there!!!
Broke...I'm in on that revival.
Looking/waiting for new blue 24's for my wife's 'rider' (JC Oddy)
I've got baby blue's for my PK and red for my Son's PK Junior/Expert (so far but undecided).
I also have a set of original pink's for my Daughters Al Giant Mosh!
We're a TUFF family!

Howard
dugga
hey broke - yes bring back tuffs, the 24 looks cool... and it's true the jumps keep getting bigger. BMX gnomes work at night and build them up
COASTY
The only bike of mine with spokes is my new school rider/racer. I can't afford tuffs on it or I would. They look very cool. Love your ride broke.
How much do the 24's go for anyway?

Today thats you ! HAHAHA

Why would he make up a custom colour set of pads for me then TAKE A PICTURE of them and THEN NOT SEND THEM ?

as for free stuff , i paid $58 for 1 set of pads and an extra $7 for the chrome/silver lettering , $65us total, that included priority postage to OZ , i have 1 quadangle thats red and chrome .... why have i got 2 sets of pads sitting here right now ?

he said he had made 2 sets in case he didnt get the lettering right , it went perfect first time so he'll send me the second set for free as it took so long . ALL GOOD !

Thats the bike finished now i have the pads apart from a nos pro neck , so i'll take some pics tomorrow and post em .

oh yeah ..... watch out for 1 set of red/silver quad pads

" coming very soon to an ebay near you "

broke L345
hey costvl, they were about 140 USD including freewheel and 50 USD post so I guess about 240 AUD total. Considdering a bike shop would almost charge you that to spoke up a set of rims, I think it's not a bad deal. They are sealed bearing and spin beutifully. I have to ajust the brakes on these 'cause when I took it out they were rubbing a little but over all I'm realy happy with them. I'll see how I like them when I start getting some of my skill back.
broke L345
Dugga I think I'm gonna take up gnome shooting as my next new sport.
Dirtboy
Tuffs are fun to ride and race on Broke!! although be warned, you'll probably need to replace the brake pads every 2 weeks or so.......

HowardinOz
Shoot em Broke!!!
Look for the ones that come by train from the city. Otherwise known as 'Metro-Gnomes'......

Howard
Mr.BMX
Ozzy:
you'd be the 1% that actually got some pads then, coz there's 100's that didnt....lucky you.

As for 24" tuffs, isn't it better to run 2 sets of rear calipers (under & over) and long tuff pads???
Nice Air dirtboy ;-)

"Save out tracks, Kill a jump-gnome today"
broke L345
DID I SCORE TODAY??

here are two bikes I got today one looks like a quicksilver with diamond back stickers and a redline stem I also think the bars are CW they have made in USA stamped on them the frame # is TF11071M. the seccond thing has profile stickers but I have no idea what it actually is the tubes on the frame and fork are tear shaped. ID???
broke L345
seccond one
broke L345
why are my pics from photo bucket coming out so small?
COASTY
Broke try using imagevenue. The pics turn out much bigger.
The first frame definately looks like a Team Quicksilver. Very cool score there.
The second frame looks like a Pro sight aero. Again another Tange made frame. I'm thinking my sons 16 incher is one of them. Almost exactly the same.
Nice scores.
COASTY
Oh and I've found 4 old school bikes in the last 2 days. 2 Kids riding a Quickie and an MX2 Redline. Then today at work one of the guys said "oh I've still got my Diamond Back and Patterson at home" !!!!! Instantly I asked about them and he's saving them for his kids. Bugger.
Mr.BMX
Great score broke,

The quickie is a "Team 1" and is faaaar rarer than the T2 which DOESN'T have the 'box' behind the bbset, (a transition stage from the orig goose frame to the team series).
It's not a good score, it's a REALLY GOOD score ;-)

Toss the Aero frame, sit back and enjoy the quickie and the cool,stem/bars too....

Coast:
Eliminate the kids, and the bikes are yours ;-)
COASTY
Don't worry marty. I thought of that. hehehe grr
dugga
broke - that team quickie is an excellent score.... what was someone thinking putting DB stickers on it? .....and I'll admit it, I'm jealous and envious
Mr.BMX
Coast:
Turn to the dark side, i feel it lurking within you...

those pesky kids........ ;-)
Jarvi
Yeah how many times do we have to say it. "BMXs aren't kids bikes".

Well done Broke.
bullyhotrod86jh
hey broke sweet score, i believe your problem is you didn't resize them at all, and the camera default is most likely significantly larger than Photobucket's maximum allowed size so it automatically resizes them as it uploads them, I havn't worked the method they use to decide on resize yet
i'd suggest aim for round abouts 700 pixel wide mark, by whatever is scaled the same, just my 2 cents.

yeah i can't see a profile frame with chain guard tabs, hehe
that brute stem shore does look in dam good nick
even got a headlock on that thing.
by the way, these freebies?
COASTY
No No must resist, the voices won't stop. please make them stop....
more beer please.
OZZYBMX
if you load a 5mp pic to photobucket .... it comes up bigger than the vbmx browser we are viewing , i used to do pics 2592x1944 =a3 , just do a 1600x1200 and it fits in nicely .
OZZYBMX
BTW , i got on the turps after work today and it was dark before i got back from my mates BBQ and COOl POOL ...bloody 39 here today , not so bad in the middle of summer but the first run of hot days is a killer , we need to acclimatise , bloody swede and irish . will take a pic of my quad tomorrow with the super rare , hard to get , lucky ducky controversial pads
OZZYBMX
have to agree with you mr bmx ... turn to the dark side master glen . we can feel the power within you !

basically you say ... patterson ??? never heard of it , i'll take it off your hands for $50 !

THEN : powerful you have become master glen !
Mr.BMX
if you dont destroy the kids Glen, then we will ;-)
broke L345
I got both of them together for 200.00. I didn't know what the seccond frame was but I didn't want to leave it as I have done that before and they were gone when I rushed back. going down to south eastern for a roll this morning. gonna be a hot day. thanks for the ID guys. hey Marty, didn't catch up with you at the states to give you the decals I'll pm you later

does anyone have the correct decals for the Quickie frame?
