bullyhotrod86jh
hey v8 know mean to tell you how to sell stuff, but maybe putting the list up would be more effective than saying pm or was it email for a list of what's up for sale. hehe.
just a thought
anyway you wouldn't have any crome perigrine rims would you?
also has anyone laced a 36 h hub to 48h rim, if so what way did you do it?
and any of you guys into 3d graphics stuff?
Mr.BMX
V8:
Howdy, long time......got any GOLD (prefer nos) Ukai or araya 7C 20" rims by chance???

Dugga: that's prolly my bike on your head mate....sorry ;-)

Bully: 3D? as in videocard 3dfx stuff? or red/blue/shutter goggles? or spacial 3D (dual pictures) viewmaster stuff?
bullyhotrod86jh

um that sort of 3d
that's stuff i've had on my photobucket for a fair hile might put up some more recent stuff, a bit later.
once i get to understand the program a bit better, i might register it so i can make something to export into gta sa.
hmmmm as i'm sitting here wishing i could get to sleep at the moment, as i relise on my shirt it says no rest for the wicked, haha.
Jarvi
Always the comedian are you v8ute? Something Dugga has to look forward to next year as I move up a class. Age not ability that is. But then as I only race about two meetings then a three month layoff, I doubt if I'll make that much of an impresssion.
Jarvi

Finally got around to taking some more pictures. Check out the others over here.

Hey Jarvi and Dugga, if you;re both walking and lying around the track den I;ll be flying over the track...HEHEHE
Mr.BMX
Bully:
Try 3DS Max (3D Studio), or some of the cheaper/freeware clones of 3DS, you'll get far better looking models ;-)
bullyhotrod86jh
yeah, i'm hoping to hunt down a copy to download eventually but until then that's all i got, i'm a littel better now, that's just what i had on my photobucket, bt yeah it doesn't help the learning process getting into it for a week here or there then, not having a chance to get on it to often. hehe
so do you do any 3d stuff yourself, if so any pics?
any action shots of you on that jarvi?
proline2
the last of my components arrived today so i spent an hour or so putting this together. aaah the memories.

AussieRampar
Hi guys, check retro section for my latest build

Heres a peek:

-Pete.
KOSY-MOTO
Yo Jarvi: Great shot bud are those the repop- Skyway bars from JohnnyChop-stick?

Proline2: looking goooood Just needs some red tyres top it offf!!!..
HowardinOz
Hey Pete.
I found one of those on my doorstep!

Howard
proline2
hey KOSY, i've built it as a rep of what i had back in '83. the wheels aren't correct yet as i have some nice bullseye hubs to be laced into some 7x's. red tyres will go on these wheels but on a mx II that i'm getting powdered white at the moment.
Jarvi
Bully - can't ride it yet with the buggered collarbone. Another couple of weeks.

Proline/Aussie Rampar - nice. Old memories and new memories for each of you.

Kosy - they are Anlun bars that were on the first Haros.
Kurt.
Very nice looking Proline 2 there. Great old buses for sure. How do you find it for size? Or won't it be a rider?

Howard - Johnny Chops work looks beautiful. Roberto's powder would also be flawless no doubt. I'm thinking a couple of the guys over the other site would looove to see your retro repro when she's done!!! Are they JC's repro GT cruiser bars too? Very nice mate.
HowardinOz
Yeah, it's a whole JC, repro package! Excellent work.
proline2
Kurt i jumped on it after i'd finished and couldn't believe how small it felt. my 14 year old son will probably enjoy it though.
i'll be getting the F/F rechromed next year and then i'll be able to put the correct 3 colour stickers on it to really complete it.

these stickers cost me my left nut, but who cares at my age i need them more than my lefty anyway LOL
proline2
Howard that looks beautiful. what colour combo will you be using?
broke L345
howard can't say I have a yearning for any other bike aside from Torkers and maybe old robinsons( with the solid gusset) but I think I'm in love with your bike.
broke L345
hey by the way, good luck to all the guys with balls riding in the vics on the week end and to all those I promised I'd ride next year I'm searching for mine in my hand bag and I will have them reattached soon!!! good luck and ride safe!
Kurt.
Cool Proie. Certainly looks the biz. You've just gotta get the right stickers and pads for these babies eh.

I can ride my son's MX2 around the yard and can toss a 180 but it feels so tiny. Wouldn't try and ride it to the shops, that's for sure.

I'd been thinking a Proline might make a good 20" rider (I'm 5' 11" - 181cm) but I might have to go a Moose. I reckon.
proline2
Kurt, it probably feels small cause its been about 13 years since i rode on one. mind you a taller set of bars may make a big difference as well. after all Stu was a 6 footer and he sort of managed LOL you're right about the pads and stickers, just so damn expensive for what they are. rarety i guess drives it up.
OZZYBMX
pphhheewwwwwwwwwwwww !!! a finished CHOPZILLA !!!!

howard that is sensational !!!

mate that will be amazing when it is finshed .

have any of yous guys thought or looked at getting the new SE model of the original looptail quad that is being released ?

explained - FUJI/todd lyons are making a limited amount of the original SE loopy quads , exact same dimensions and material ...only 28yrs later .

brand new in baba bluuu !

im hoping/desperate to get one of those babys .... or a chopzilla might have been at my door too
redlineoz
hey proline2, im a 6 footer, i can ride my mx2 to the shops,,, well the bottleO anyway,, with ease...but i have no pads to weigh me down...hehe
cheers
HowardinOz
Thanks guys.
It's a great looking bike. It's actually 'my wife's' bike.
SSSHhhhh! (rrriiiiighhhht!!!!!) Hee! Hee!
I was going to go with ano blue components but they seem to be too hard to get. I'm thinking I'll just go with polished aluminium and chrome stuff!
I have a mate who's going to knock me up some chrome stickers for it.
Jarvi, that's what I needed that brake for....sorry Bud!
Would like to go three piece but for the moment a nice set of Takagi's will be used. I'm tempted to gear it...maybe a 2 speed hub!
Slowly collecting bits.
Hey Brian....I do still want the stem if you have it. Sorry for the delay! (guess where it'll be going?).

Howard
Jarvi
Howard you should have sung out that you needed it. Anyway I put the bid on and then forgot about it until afterwards. Pity you missed the Araya 24" rims earlier this week. I saw your bid and realised what you probably wanted to put them on.

I bet your wife is please she will be able to go riding with the family...
Kurt.
Yeah - you just need to weld on some little brackets for the rack.

woops.

Not a metaphor!!!
Kurt.
Hey Proie - yeah - you are probably right. Some pro size bars would make a big difference - just running microline bars at the mo.
proline2
redlineoz, don't worry mate we'll sort some pads out in the new year.
Kurt, i've got a set of proline v's coming from the US which will go on this bike. the only bummer is they are chrome and i just love the red finish on the micro's. the micro's will go on my mxII project.
Kurt.
Sounds good mate - love those Redline v bars.

That's true about Stu too - he was 6' 1" and solid, so most people should fit on a Proline.

I've got a set of 401 flights on the way for my DB Pro at the moment. I've wanted a set of those for 25 years!
redlineoz
lookin forward to it proline....
howard, yes i still got the stem for you.
cheers
HowardinOz
Yeah, only problem James is everyone will be looking at her bike instead of mine!
I wasn't vigilant enough on the rims. I really want a set of 24" blue Tuff's for it. I also need to get another one of those calipers. There's a few on the bay but they won't ship to Oz...Oh well!
Ha! Ha! That's pretty good Kurt!
Namza
Hi All, here's Namza reporting from Werribee. MELBOURNE is awesome so do Werribee. Look out for me in VBMX jersey at KNOX tomorrow. Yeaahh......right behind my bro's crib there's a bmx track. I'm becoming like a child again....hehehehe
prosight
what cranks are these????
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/bmx-3-piece-crank_W...1QQcmdZViewItem
bullyhotrod86jh

went way to high for something not even sealed.
redlineoz
is knox on saturday or sunday?
cheers
KOSY-MOTO
Proie: They look like Profile mid-school cranks
prosight
At 1st you would think flight's but they look like Peregrine cranks just thought id test you guy's.

oh not mine just a very cheep set of cranks

Bully the 1st flight's 401's were not always sealed but still go for $200+.......post pic's of your $35ono cranks!
KOSY-MOTO

broke L345
knox was yesterday and today.
Kurt.
Hey Chris - you don't have a 44T flight crank chainring floating around in that shed do you?

Still got that Monaro hubcap too mate.

Cheers Kurt
Jarvi

Dugga and Mr.BMX

Dirtboy, Mattblack and Velocidad

Dirtboy showing some style heading into the second corner over the doubles.

bullyhotrod86jh
here you go proie, yeah i understand the bb doesn't mean as much with oldschool cranks, but i highly doubt there in anyway oldschool, as they seem exactly like the cheaper cranks.
www.martin-bike.com
Whooohooo!!! Dirtboy stylin'. Nice one! Looking JMC DYish to me . . .

Hope to see some more of that for real in about 3 weeks when I arrive back in Sydney.
