Come on Bully, Neil Diamond was awesome. THe guy's 70 odd and still entertaining!
How many Techno, Rap or Metal bands are still going at that age?
Granted, alot LOOK that old! Lol!
I took the bottom off my big toe in the chain on an old Yamaha motobike when I was about 7! Still clearly remember it!
Riding with bare feet!

Jarvi
I'll go one better than you Howard. I took my mother to Neil Diamond and we had front row tickets. As Kurt will agree, not too many acts make it to Tassie so I gave it to Mum as a present and obviously she couldn't go by herself. Scored a few points with her that weekend but they have been well lost since.
broke L345
hey howard looks like you're getting nothing but support, my wife took me to a Niel Diamond concert and ever since I've been a huge fan "hot august night" is often in our cd player when people come over for dinner but then so is Dwite Yokum and "a mighty wind" oh and old REM from '85 or so.I reccon it's all good summer BBQ music too.
Kurt.
Yeah Jarvi - music wilderness, with the odd exception.

My most memorable 80's concerts down here were Midnight Oil, Meat Loaf, The Radiators (when they were the LOUDEST pub band in Oz) and Icehouse.

As far as the 70's I shamefully admit to going with my mum to watch Jon English at the Princess Theatre in Launceston in 1979!!!
Kurt.
Back to BMX. My new helmet - basic matt black 661 Mullet, all stickers picked off (took bloody hours!) and replaced with a single spare Hutch one. All I need now is a couple of the new VBMX ones for the sides. Did anyone manage to get an e:mail address to paypal for Hal's??
Kurt.
The address is:

Hal@vintagebmx.com

$5 USD for 3 VBMX stickers including postage. Bargain.

Just paid for mine.

Hey guys, i am going to be in Canberra for ten days for some "Christmas time" with my wifes family, is there any of you fellas live there.
OZZYBMX
hey on U2 , i went to slane castle in ireland 3 times and seen u2 there each time , all my mates went on thursday to see them here in adelaide , they said UNBELIEVABLE !
bullyhotrod86jh
hmmm seems this desk of mine feels like it's about to collapse.
anyway i know how some of you guys are into muscle cars and i was just wondering does anyone have or know where i could get a pic of this kind of wheel fairly close up and as square as possible either like one of these

or preferably
like the wheels on this
Kurt.
Hey Bully,

I think the top wheels are by a US company called "Cragar". Or at least they look like them.

The bottom ones on that stinky old coon are by "Globe". Depending on what car you want them for and what size, you should still be able to buy them. You won't get them any bigger than 15" though.

Cheers young fella
Kurt.
Hey Ozzy,
Slane castle would have been unbelievable. Lucky boy. I've been into U2 since grade 9 (1982). Fell in love with "War". How was the concert Jarvi?
bullyhotrod86jh
cheers kurt but i'm not interested in buying them, just after a good pic to use for something, found one now though.
by the way i gather your a holden lover, haha.
Kurt.
Cool Bully.

Damn - you've seen straight through me - and I thought I was covering it so well! LOL.
redlineoz
hey kurt, u2 was awesome...
the crowd...well was HUGE!!
cheers
Jarvi
Slane would have been fantastic. I have the Elevation DVD from there and watch it regularly. Last night was good but not the best I've been to. I have high expectations and would have liked to hear a few more of their other songs but I guess that's what happens when you go to see a band that has 25+ years worth of songs. Still glad I went.

Redlinenz - don't think there is anyone here from Canberra.
Kurt.
Hey guys - I'm still envious of the U2 concert.

Beautiful warm evening here in Tassie so spent it so far drinking red and listening to some classic Aussie 80's music - The Sunnyboys first album.

For you younger fellas - check it out - classic 1981:

Hey -

I'm tentatively visiting Australia in early 2007. Excuse my foolishness, but are most of you near Sydney?

Marty. (Melbourne)
Mr.BMX
Andy, well done, tell us more about it.

'bout time someone else scored a classic quad ;-)
AndyDiamond
Found in NZ. Originally chrome but the guy I bought it off had it powdered white.

Check the fork drop-outs....

!!!
Jarvi
Nice one Andy. How long were you working on that one?

Ben - if you've flown for 14+ hours to get here, what's another hour or two in a plane to visit Melbourne and Brisbane? Seriously, Sydney is a great place and if your schedule doesn't permit anymore than Sydney I'm sure some of the local members wil be able to show you a good time.
KOSY-MOTO
Beno: Don't even bother coming to Sydney.. we don't want ya.. hehehe.. MelBURN is where it at!
