[/IMG]

You can borrow my Lazer MX3 & Pawtectors & RL if you cant get a better offer (That Quadie looks nice?).
[/IMG]
GTHODAD
That track pic was off this forum-dont know who by.
Namza
GHTODAD, that's so awesome of you. I would luv to ride on that track with your bike. When I touch down on Melbourne soil, I'll get in touch with you and some of the nicest people down here too. But I wanna witness dat KNOX race first. Those photos was posted by velocidad. Phew, I wish dat track is in my hometown. So anyone wanna sponsor me an Australian Permanent Resident status? Hehehe
Namza
Dugga, dat's nice Quad. The old Torker kick *** too.
KOSY-MOTO
HEY Brokey.. I've seen that Redline b4? were you at Knox last year for a short time?...
OZZYBMX
Just touching in here guys , im reading reading but nothing to say just as you are saying this place has gone to [no, not when typed this way either] , even in my short exp here there has been a lot of few post flashes !!!

im workin tomorrow BUT jus fitted the black Z's with SS chromed spokes to black DX hi flange hubs to my ripper ... will post the before and after pics tomorrow ... looks different (obviously) !!!

MAN , i laced them babys a dream , true as a pigeon !!! no dips or wobbles

local bikey wanted $1 a spoke and $60 a wheel !!! ($192) GET FAKKED MATE !!! nearly $200 after i already bought the NOS hubz and rims ... yeah that sounds GREEAT !!

will post pics tomorrow .

hey and GDAY to the usual suspects here !
Mr.BMX
Kosy - Yep, that was brokes redline last year at knox, missing grips though, as he only had 2 of the same sided red oakley 3 grips, and was still looking for 1 left/right grip to complete the set, and finish the bike ;-) ... wotta memory huh? hehehe

Ozzy - Sounds like fun, spoking can be good therapy, but also a pain in the rear too ;-)

See you VIC guys tomorrow at knox show, for those that are going.....
I'm trying to clean my car out and get a 'few' bikes down there for display, should be fun.
GTHODAD
Found some good race photos on the internet.

COASTY
Great photos there. I remember nearly every one of those guys. I can't believe Michael Sammut still raced for Champion 3 years after I quit riding for them.
Thanks for posting the link "Dad"
Mr.BMX
Cool site, nice 'later era' history there too, great pics.
prosight
got a storey for you all.

last night went to the miss friends house for a BBQ and all the guys are drinking beer in the shed so off i went to get a beer and in the shed was a MINT mongoose pro class 20inch so i had a quick look it was 100% orginal accept the cranks which are a mint set of Anlun 3p cranks so i asked did you have pro class cranks BITD on it and he went to the back of the shed and came back with a NOS pair of pro class cranks still in the box. he told me he broke the 1st set and got these on warranty but when he was waiting for the cranks to come from the USA his dad got him a set of Anlun and never put the pro class cranks back on ......and he tells me his bro still has his DB turbo in vgc to.

ill be trying to get these bike as i have some car parts they need so ill see how i go

Kurt.
Hey nice story Chris.

Wonder how many OS bikes are out there in Oz in the back of sheds without their owners knowing what they have...

I'm tipping thousands of 'em.
redlineoz
i finally found somthing!! woo hoo!
skyway tuff 2's front black, blue rear, and some acs??? 6 spoke tuffs in yellow. a 16 inch with a front tuff, and a frame set, not sure what it is, looks like a cheapy with almost mongoose rear end, but diff, and the front gusset kind of tells me its cheap? its not a round hole... with mint blue mx2 neck, super maxy 3 piece cranks in gold, hardly any marks, but color faded a bit, with gold surefoot 2 pedals,, yellow kashimax in vgc and a nice lookin gold seat clamp,,brand?? and a complete comet crossrider red,,with decals intact, the seat has no rips and even has crossrider on the back of the seat. all prob not worth anything, but i finally found somthing for free.
will post pix when i find my usb cable for the cam
cheers

I did take a camera but forgot my compact flash disk for it.!!! I hope some of the others took some pics. Nice to see some new guys who are'nt members here come down and bring bikes as well. I was hoping for a few more guys to show up but prior commitments cant be helped. Oh Yeah broke's Torker Rocks!!!

Kurt.
Hey thanks for the pics Broke - wish I was a few hundred kilometres closer.

Looks like a good turnout - poor old Jarvi in his sling too!

Hey what's that chrome looptail at the top of this page with the layback post???
Kurt.
And who owns the 84 Turbo?
broke L345
mr bmx, marty.
Kurt.
Your Torker always looks very sweet too Broke. My best mate used to run those tricky DX cranks on his '81 DB. Torkers were a pretty rare piece of exotica here in Tas - only knew one guy who had one.
HowardinOz
Kurt, I think it's a Cook Bro's!

Howard
redlineoz
i think howard is correct!
a good turnout indeed. well done all.
cheers
Kurt.
Nice. Must be pretty rare in Oz?
GTHODAD

Great pics btw. OS pics needed fill in flash.
Love the Torker-although from memory they used to crack too easily.
prosight

What a joker!

Howard
KOSY-MOTO
WOW dugga.. thats what you call.. CRACK'd it!! hehehe...
Jarvi
Was a good day down there on Saturday. Of course standing around watching people ride was over-rated as usual. I can't believe I still haven't had a chance to ride the Knox track yet.

I made myself a wooden launch ramp but as it's only about 30cm high I doubt I'll be doing any back flips off it. Would love to give them a try though, as long as it was into a foam pit...
HowardinOz
Ha! Ha! I got most of the way through your post James and thought, God no, of all people! Then I read the foam pit bit.
