redlinenz
and 1111
COASTY
Yeah the stuff I got has been under dads house for 23 years! Lots of dirt.
Hey Reece I got some red kkt's too from dads house.
I'm gonna clean the 'goose and hang it on a wall. I can't bring myself to build it now I realise what I've got.
So has anyone rung Universal Cycles and put in a list of wants? I know I have. I've seen the stash and trust me, you want to make a list and ring.
Lewis
Coastvl I was just looking at your gooses I'm sure that the down tube decal, the red stripe always went at the top or first but not in this case??
Let me know if you want to off load that Redline stem. Nice find.
prosight
i sent them a list about 1 year ago and **** all.......
they keep telling me they will ring.......
they had a HUTCH in the box for me and when i rang back they could not find it....
COASTY
Im know what your sayin' about the stripe. I thought the same. I've seen them both ways so who knows. They have been on there as long I've owned it (1981) so i'm not sure what the story is. I know the frame was bought from ex competition developments guy Mark(?) Bradley. He worked at Champion Cycles where I was sponsored. He also sold my mate ,dean, the 2 twin tube quickies.
Go figure????
COASTY
And Chris, I know they have a lot of the good stuff stashed away. I was told his daughter is saving it for the bay. I bet your hutch is on that pile.
AndyDiamond
Hey Chris - what's the deal bidding up on our turf man?
It's hard enough to get that stuff here without overseas bidders hiking the prices up.
QuicksilverBMX
Post a link Andy, I gotta see it
prosight
so NZ can only bid in NZ
the USA can only bid in the USA
and Australian's can only bid in Aust

come on Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your a JOKE
AndyDiamond
Nah - all is fair on ebay and stuff.

What little we DO actaully have locally would be nice to keep here.

It's hard enough forking out big bucks with the excahnge rate + shipping to get stuff from overeas as it is.

At least locally we may have a more level playing field without competition and big spenders from off shore.

Give us at least our own piece of the action, even if it is thin on the ground is what I'm saying.
prosight
Andy....just let me know if you need it and ill stop biding
redlinenz
Chris your PM's full...
If you have a spare set that would awesome!
AndyDiamond
Resolved, lol.
QuicksilverBMX
So has anyone got a picture of a nice nitto MX2 stem in black I can see? I dont want to buy one, just see it!!

Lewis
Gee's I had forgotten all about the hardtail until seeing your posts WOW talk about being stored in the back of the brain. Wasn't there another name first _ _ _ _ somthing hardtail??
COASTY
I think there may be a reason we blanked them out of our brains.
Definately _______ hardtail. Buggered if I can remember what.
Lewis

Mr.BMX
Hi all,
it's a "COMET Hardtail", the 2nd model that followed the basic "Comet". also along the lines of other low-end bikes like the good ol' CYCLOPS ;-)

I have a FATtrax Lewis, as i listed yonks ago, i still need to send you a piccy ;-)

Mr.BMX
v8ute
heywhats with this pre 90 crap, i have a heap of old bikes from 90-92, so what i cant bring them cos they arent from the 80,s, they are still damn close to old school, and some damn fine bikes too, 15 years is still old, not to mention as much a part of history as the 80,s bikes
