OZZYBMX
Hey howard , luis .... check these pics out ....

this is a few pics of a set of Alliance Radix's i bought to fit a 2004 pk ripper . While my project to turn them into unstamped 1 1/8 unthreaded LG look alikes was in progress , i sold the frame and have the finished forks now . may i add ... DISCLAIMER - i am sure that all 1 1/8 LG's are stamped so i am not making repos or would i sell them as landing gears !!!!

HowardinOz
Good job Ozzy. Bologne cut is not quite the right angle so you can't get 'done' by the purists...it's obvious.
Looks good.

Howard
OZZYBMX
thanks howard , the rounded bottoms on the radix forks dont allow for a longer point . oh well , it killed a few hours in work and would have looked miles better on the 2004 pk than radix .
HowardinOz
How'd you do the ends?
Brazed or welded?
HowardinOz
I like the 'different' look of the radix's.
Reckon they'd look good in chrome or B'blue

hey osamie, you can have the skyway for free if you walk from sydney to get it, i am serious too, thats no cars or planes or trains, foot power only, or you can have half of the bike for 650, which half would you like, front or back, i will cut it up now for ya, i can slice it down the middle so you can stick it on the wall
Mr.BMX
V8: i'll give you $500 for the other half leftover :-)
KOSY-MOTO

broke L345
I like using esnipe for my bidding, the bid is placed 3 secconds before the end of auction. it means no one can bid on top of me. I used to play one upmanship but things kept getting too expensive so now I wait till the last seccond to bid, very successfully may I add.
KOSY-MOTO
ahhh.. now i know whos the dud bidder... hehehe.. only kidding brokey.. hehehe
v8ute
ok guys, just finished splitting my skyway down the middle, one side is for osamie when he walks down my driveway and you can have the other side marty, should i cut the dx spindle in half to be fair
KOSY-MOTO

v8ute
just thought i would let you all know that most of my bikes and parts will be up for sale, any of you aussie guys that want anything are more than welcome to drop in or for you interstaters just email me, i was thinking of having a garage sale and BBQ next saturday for all you melbourne guys, a bit of an excuse to get everyone together also, everything i have will be parted out so no hugely priced complete bikes will be for sale, unless preffered, any and i mean any melbourne dudes are welcome, if you want to cruise on in drop me an email for the address and just so i know some numbers for a BBQ.
i have some cool bits guys so dont miss out
v8ute
yeah osamie, i might ride to melbourne too, lol
v8ute

do any of you guys want anything from my garage?
Jarvi
Oh jeez, I remember the last time I came out your way Anthony...Actually finished the S&M last week, which has 75% of the parts from you. You wouldn't recognise the wheels now.

lol, yeah bring more coin this time bud, lol
OZZYBMX
howard , used BELZONA to set a plate on each end then silver soldered the plate on , then the old manual filing took a few mins
forks were new when i got them , blasted them down to bare metal and sprayed them when the job was done , no laquer yet (i'll wait till my work gets it in)
Jarvi
Watch out everone, things happen in threes and I've just broken my collar bone again. Same one as last ime, different track and different bike.

Something to be said for having garage queen bikes rather than riders.
HowardinOz
Jesus James....give it away!
The third thing might be your neck!

hey jarvi, im guessing that you might have taken the training wheels of just a little bit too early, or you might like the feeling of dirt against your skin, honestly bud, i have some kinky fetishes but that aint one of them
v8ute
i take it that you aint riding with us for a while then either
Jarvi
v8ute, I might like my girls dirty but not me. Yep count me out for those rides for a while.
OldSkoolRoy
I went for a ride this arvo. Broke a rib about 3 and a bit weeks ago. Crashed on the new Beenleigh w ramp. D'oh!! I'll just stick to street/park i think. LOL.
dugga
james not again!!! bummer about the collar bone - which track? Remind me to avoid it. I think we need a charity ride for "buy jarvi some body armour" So I guess interclub is off the agenda for this weekend? You'll be back in action for the state titles?
crossriderozzy
Jarvi....... man what can I say? bad luck dude, get better soon mate.
COASTY
Damn James, take it easy mate. Hope your feeling better and riding soon.
Roy the new ramp looks pretty cool. I'll have to get up there soon before I leave town.
Mr.BMX
again Jarvi? if you're gonna race the titles (yeh rite) i suggest you walk the track. ;-)
Mr.BMX
Any Aussies interested, i changed the museum on my site, and dedicated a museum strictly for AUSSIE stuff from bitd.

The 'normal' museum will basically be USA stuff...(this'll be cleaned up asap)

AUSSIE Stuff bitd

Worth a look if you love some old Aussie memories ;-)

Plenty more pics, info and riders lists to come.....madly typin' .....

Marty.
KOSY-MOTO

Mr.BMX
Thanx guys, there's a LOT more to go ;-)
As for 'chat'...you'd be chattin' to yourself Osamie.
broke L345
hey jarvi, that sucks, get better soon..good thing your job allows you to be a little busted up ;-).take care mate.
dugga
great stuff marty
Jarvi
Thanks guys. Definitely out for the titles which I'm not happy about. Will probably be next year now as Christmas is only 8 weeks away. Might be able to get down to the interclub for a look. BTW anyone know what an asterisk after your number means on the entry list?

Dugga it was the second set of doubles on the second straight at Park Orchards. No idea what happened other than the front wheel must have washed out on the way down the back. I was taking it easy because they are still working on the track and crap everywhere. Also guessing there will be some carnage on the first jump in the pro section. It is basically a dirt jump designed to shoot you straight up. Back flips would be easy off it.

Maybe ramps might be safer than tracks? Ribs hurt but at least you still get to use both arms afterwards.
dugga
Jarvi, the asterisk is an indicator for the ambulance guys that the rider has a high likelihood of injury during the course of a race. The officials see it on the moto list and notify the ambos to have a stretcher at the ready

actually don't know but it sounds like a valid explanation ...that track was nasty before the mods. I've come off twice on those doubles. I'll have to get down there for a ride so I don't have any surprises at the next meet. Hope you're feeling better.... go the panadeine forte
velocidad

go the panadeine forte
Jarvi
When I was at the surgery the Panadeine Forte were the first thing on the list followed by a referral to the orthopaedic surgeon and a medical certificate for the gym. Was easier this time around because I knew what I was doing. Just need to get some drugs which help me sleep but have to wait until Monday morning as I forgot about them. Next time I'll remember them ahead of the Panadeine Forte.

Ihad them same feeling about the asterisk but didn't want to say it. Thining of doing a Frank Williams and becoming a team owner rather than a rider, but just doesn't seem as much fun.
HowardinOz
If you use the Forte...like I do...lollies.
Make sure you use something like Metamucil as well!
Anything containing codeine turns 'stuff' to concrete ...I'm sure you know what I mean.

I would expect everyone is!
I just thought I'd test the waters a little with a bid.
It's gone from bargain to ridiculous! Ha! Some bidders just have to hold pole position all the way.

QuicksilverBMX
A little too new for my tastes Howard

My newest bike is a Redline 600a
COASTY
Theres a few nice bits on there at the moment! No cash as usual.
HowardinOz
I see there's a nice Quicky survivor on the Bay at present!

Reece, I'm glad I got mine for $200.00. It's not a looptail but I just can't justify that sort of money on a BMX. Now, car parts and swords.....that's a different story! Lol!
