Guys I have a question, Has anyone taken a bike on a plane before as luggage? I'll be bringing my bike and parts home from Sydney. Whats the go with putting a bikeon a plane as luggage. I know bikes go on planes all the time but whats the costs involved and would it be cheaper to freight it up here to the goldie?

Hey guys, I went to the tip today and found 2 new school freestyle bikes. Haro and a Redline. I didn't grab them but they were ok condition. I'm pretty sure they were cheapies.

Hey Brian, I have an old BMX Pancake (No.2 I think) and the inside cover is an ad for a Super Max. Are you going to build it to factory spec? If I can get a scan of it soon or maybe Pete Porker can email you a scan. I'm pretty sure he has the same magazine and a scanner (which I dont have) I nearly bought a frame off him as well, I did a quick stocktake and I almost had every part from the ad to build it to spec, all in used condition of course

Also since this thread has become a bit of a buy/sell/swap sort of thing maybe someone has a LH gold ano. diacompe hook style brake lever. this is the RH version here: lever - about a 300kb pic. I have two of these in RH & need a matched pair... thanks.

Yo velocidad, I have a knock off NOS left hand lever in gold and red plus a blue pair of Lee Chi 2 finger jobs.

The gold lever isn't very 'hooky' - it's more straight.

Very good copy of a DC/Shimano lever though.

Here is a pic (the only one i have) of the twin downtube team quicksilver that my mate Dean has(d). He has 2 of these or I hope he still has. He was my best mate for years and also a team mate at Champion Cycles.

yep sure is. That one was his Thrasher! He had a race bike the same but with different wheels. Flights on both of them too! Thats why i want them.

The frames are really long. They were made for Mick Wiltshire or wayne macintosh when he was a rider for team Quicksilver. I'm pretty sure he got them from Mark (?) Bradely when he was a rider also. I got the 'goose and Dean got the quickies. The goose I scored was the first Mongoose frame in Oz. I'll be picking up the goose in 2 weeks! yay!

Oh and if anyone has that pancake article, could they please scan it and send it to me? I cant find my copies of it.They're here somewhere but I'm buggered if I can find it. As you can see they were ripped from the mag bitd and I would like to preserve what little fame I had.
