Thought i'd spoil myself with a new groupset (Campy Chorus). There is just something special about Campy. I can't imagine spending that kind of money on Shimano, even thought there isn't any real performance difference between the two:

Here are the pics, just waiting for the front derailleur and bb cups from my LBS.

Thanks for the comments guys. The bike is starting to take shape. The wheels are just props at the moment, still waiting for my Neutrons to arrive. As soon as i get those and the compact front derailleur i'll torque everything down and finish her off.

The pic is a bit grainy, i think the camera was focusing on the couch and not the bike, but you get the idea anyway.

I normally do not come in this section, but i went to the tour of sommerville this week(and actually watched a roadie race-for the first time in the 10 years i have been going) and have a new appreciation for road racing. Some of the tech is outrageous. And the racing is really cool. btw very nice bike.

Tx. Frame is a compact 55.5, about a 58 to 60 equivalent. The OCR has a taller head tube and more relaxed angles than the TCR, makes for a really comfy long distance tourer.

Later on i'll be looking at the Specialized Roubaix frame. Also a comfy bike with their zertz inserts and laid back angles.

As for racing, i have some serious catching up to do. Our vet amateurs are averaging 25+ mph depending on the race. I'm only averaging about 18, but then i'm carrying about 45lbs more than them.
