Hey guys,
I've just read in our newspaper that the Discovery Team will ride bikes with rear suspension in Paris-Roubaix!
Some years ago, when front suspension was used, Johan Museew tried a full suspension road bike in Paris-Roubaix.
So, when watching the competition on TV, watch for those weird road bikes!

What will the UCI say about this...?

Hincapie ran one last year in Paris-Roubaix. They aren't like big sprung suspension jobs, just a little rubber bumper between the top of the seat-stays and the seat mast to take some of the punishment out of the pave. It's a Klein thing, and since Klein is part of the Trek family, they slapped these on the Discovery team's Madones.
You can see it
HERE -- the little black ditty at the top pf the seat stays.

Evan is right, they've done this before. Cool idea but I'm not sure I'd want it for my bike...of course, I don't ride Partis-Roubaix

We showed our first suspension road frame at Interbike 1991. Zinn from Velonews said it was the most stupid thing he ever saw.
