Now that I have your attention -yuk yuk yuk
Tonight's freebie pick-up...
Please excuse the garage slop... It's cold out there.
I think I'm going to hook these two babes up with my two young nephews.

Sweet `87's - that means they are almost legal! If you decide to part with a set of those wheels, I could use a decent rear (or a set).

I was expecting (And hoping) to see a couple of hot blonde chicks worthy of Hooters employment....But those 2 'Goose's are sweet too. I wouldn't mind one of those myself.

Does anyone know if the seatposts are supposed to look like that? Sorry for the poor pic but they kind of look like they are gradually laying back instead of starting straight then making a sharper angle like most layback posts. Does that make sense? Both posts look bent to me.

No they are not black chrome... just black. The stems are SR/SAKAE freestyle stems... same model that came on the 86 Mongoose FS-1 that I have. Don't ask how they came to be on these bikes, cuz I have no idea.

hey paulie - did those look similar in 89 and did they come in various sizes?
my son raced his first race (he was 5) on a tiny toys r us bike. before his second race two days later, i got him one of those (a gray one) on the advice of the folks in the shop. of course it was waaaaay too big but it only took him 3 months to turn expert on it though so i guess it wasn't too bad.

more of the same score ? Cool stuff, you know those are the pedals that came on the 87 PFT Team model right ?

That's awesome dani. Probably not too different from an 89 other than decals.
You know Brian, I was wondering about that. They'd need 9/16" spindles for the team model though. These were not from the same score. I met a guy who said he and his brother had their old bikes up in the attic. He told me to come and get them... otherwise they would have gone to the curbside.
