These were on a cruiser I picked up yesterday. I was just wanting to get a round about date on the so I can see if I can use hem on any of my era specific bikes. If it makes any difference, the spindle look to be profile compatable.

DMG
Later boss cranks. 90s maybe? Early mid 80s boss cranks have a spindle similar to the early profile spindle.
Gino
That spindle looks more like a redline than profile. They look like the ones I had in late 89 early 90 time.

I have a set of Boss cranks from 91 and they have a profile type (48 spline) spindle. In fact i can swap spindles with my profile cranks.

I have 2 sets I am selling right now. the pics may help for reference. the 180's came off of a pre-88 team model crusier and the others are a little bit newer. the earlier ones I have have the size stamped on the spindle bose and the 175's have the size stamped on the back side of arm at bottom. I also have the earlier spider like yours posted seperatly. look at the pics. hopefully this shameless plug was also helpful in dating your cranks.

Cool thanks for the help. Now one more question. When did Boss 3 pc cranks come out I've head around 84ish, true?

That spindle type is the earlier one, before the profile type.
