What are your favorite mid-school grips? I see a ton of AME's on mid school builds. They're pretty cool, cheap and readilly available. What else do you like? I am working on a couple mid school cruiser builds right now, one from 1990, and one from 1998. Contemplating grip choices...what do you guys like?

My absolute favorite of all time are the A`me supersofts. They were flangeless and GT had their logo on them.

Odi Tech 7's, A'me tris and Jive tenticals. You don't see alot of tech 7's on builds (except mine), and they are super comfortable.

Longnecks are sweet. I think I'm gonna put black ames on the 1990 floval, and I am undecided on the 98 robinson pro 24.

When did oakley stop making grips, and what was the last design?
HRPdesigns
A'me Rounds, I still run them on all of my bikes ad I just bought three new pairs off of E-bay.

Don't know when Oakley stopped making grips, but the last series I remember were the O-Wings, I think they were after the B1B's.

Jeff I have a brand new set of A'me Super softs that do not have the GT on them. They have flanges and are a tad larger than the GT ones. The GT's were actually closer to the A'me mountian bike grip, which I have a used pair of those floating around. if you would like the super softs I can part with them ofr a reasonable price.

I just found some UGP Kung-Fu Grips on the Bay.

A'me Rounds 4-EVA...old-skool, new-skool, and everything in between...I also Dig Oakley F1s and run a pair on my cruizer, but I just cant justify the $ that they cost nowadays for a rider when I can get new A'me grips for less than $10...yea, I wish Oakley would start making grips again too...

I also like the A'me GT anotmical whatever grips, and I run them on my RL, but I got to tell ya, that I tried the newer A'me supersofts thinking they might be similiar to the GT grip, and they are completely different, and I hate them...supersoft is an understatment, these things feel like sponges wrapped around my bars...
