Since I lucked into a set, I have been trying to find info on them...not much out there.
Can any of you guys give me history, details, models, pics?
I did find out they were made with either stickers (US made) or etched logo (non-US). My set are bare, so I figure the sticker is just history and they are US-made. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I think they still make em.
you can get the stickers w/ the 'tnt' in blue, for the late us made models, from mark masters. I think it's $5 for a few pair.
they had the derringer, derringer 2, revolver & peacemaker.. maybe more, that's all i can think of..

I would say that's a derringer II, right befor they started etching them. I say that only because of the color.
I have etched and decaled TNT hubs. The decaled hubs don't have as much of a flat area between the cutouts.
Revolvers came first. Origonally they came drilled completely through like sonlites. Then just to a high flange. I've been tring to find a set of revolvers. If anyone has a set they want to part with let me know.
Here's a set of etched.

Figured I might as well post the rear now that it's clean too...

Kastanman,
Etched hub looks sweet in silver.
Can you post pics of your decaled hubs?
Thanks,
Steve

Standardracer,
Thanks for posting the pic.
the hubs look cool...any chance the guy you sold them to is a member here? I'd like to see how they look cleaned up and on his build.
That ELF must have been a pretty light little mini bitd. Looks like it could use some lovin' though.

My buddy has a set of the drilled high flange ones in his stash at his parent's. But that ^ is the first time I've seen a pic of those hubs on the internet.

StandardRacer,
WOW, I had seen your mini in the "ELF" post and thought it was a beauty...didn't realize the orange mini was one and the same...GREAT JOB. (guess I should have recognized those drilled crank arms)
Under 10lbs, cool. Makes me wish I was a little guy again.

From what has been posted on ebay, Hyper hubs they are supposed to be made by Tnt. Mine do look like undrilled revolvers. Anyone else have heard the same thing?

The hubs with that Elf actually look more like early Profile Gyrolites. Are there any decals on them??

No decals on them . I did some research on the hubs and they werent profiles like I was hoping for . I got them off of a friends dad I used to race with his kids and he said for sure they were TNT revolvers He had them built for his sons cruiser
