I'm pretty sure there was a set of Haro frame decals from the 1990 bashguard frame on Australian ebay a few weeks ago.....$75 AUD from memory. Genuine NOS not repros.

What about the first generation Haro monocoque (92-'93 ?) . Also may not be that rare , but what about the green Elf 24" cruiser , I bought mine back in '95 , but just wondering . I still know where it is , just need to make the drive & make an offer as it's been in storage for 6yrs now . Part list for that particular bike :
Ron C's
red Crupi's W/ the small swirl machining (not triangle)
Chrome Sun rims (green nipples )
nonstamped Profiles W/ ti spindle
DK (XL ?) inverted stem (silver )
Haro Fusion (radiation pattern) sprocket.

How about Answer Proforx??? I thought these would have been in hot demand by now but there rarely seems to be anyone asking about them. I've got my set of silver Proforx in top condition (They just need a new set of decals - If anyone has a set to sell then I would like buy them).
Remember the Hyper Metro Pro chromoly frames & forks? Eric Carter rode for Hyper back in the 90's....They were awesome!
Or what about the Cardboard Lords "Emancipator" frame back in the early 90's. It had a threadless stem, Micro adjust seat post and canti brakes.
Cardboard Lords also made the legendary "Cindy plates"....The Cindy Crawford number plates that were popular in the 90's.

There are a few Hyper Metro Frames that have been on ebay and there is still one on there. How about the first Hyper. I think it was a fs-20, the one that had a removable rear like Auburn's. I have not seen one of those in the flesh ever. I do love my Hyper hubs though!!
I also was suprised by the lack of interest in Answer forks but since all the pro's used to lock theirs out they were a major fad.

One of my all time Fav's and one that I couldn't get when I started looking for replacement forks:
Tange Switchblade forks. I bid a Nos set up to $175 almost a year ago, and someone snipped me at the end.

Auburn CR24RX's are pretty hard to find and the purple with green outline decals are a pain too.

I have a Maddog frame fork set. I sold 4 or 5 Chester Chizzils at my shop back when they came out of which I sold a UPS truck brown 20" to NotEddieRoman a few years back. Eddie where did that one go?

Where all the Suntour coasters are:
Through the late 80's all the way up until the Nankai was released in 1999, flatlanders bought up EVERY Japanese made Suntour coaster shell and guts they could find for freecoaster conversions. I rode and used up dozens of sets of guts and so did everyone else I know. Finding a factory made 48 hole Suntour was basically impossible after 1992 or so, as the factory that made them was destroyed in an earthquake and they never made them again. They made some Taiwanese versions but they didn't work very well for freecoaster conversions. Some companies would cut the flanges off of the 36 hole Suntour coasters and refit 48 flanges onto them. I have one of those today. I used to also scavenge the old bike shops in the early 90's, looking for coaster brake parts off of junked bikes from the 80's. The clutches were particularly easy to wear out and needed replacement sometimes. I had a OG 48 on my bike for 7 years, until it was stolen out of my house in 1999. Good luck finding a NOS Suntour coaster, any one in any kind of place where someone might find it has long since been located, retrofitted into a freecoaster, and used to learn pedal junkyards probably 10 years ago or more.... I have one in great shape that I still ride and I'd never sell it.
