oooo, wow! ^^^ that looks silky smooth! You had all that stuff powdered white? I like how it looks so clean, new, right decals, and parts all jibe-up as era correct!...i think parts are all period right, everywhere i look on the bike seems right...awsome!

There has been some beauties on this thread, I will be back when this is re-built. Its a 1996(?) Challenger F+F originally owned from new by me until I sold it on to a girl who wanted to race it because I had just swapped a UGP hoody for an oversized chrome plate dirt bike frame (true) which Ive still got. She sold it on and 5 years later I spot it in a bike shop and buy it back for $60, now painted silver (it was chrome) Can any one help me with a sticker set? Im sure it had the scripture challenger letters with the red white and green background.

A few stickers and a patch while were on the subject

so what you would need then, by what ure saying, is the Neal Wood International Series Challenger decals I guess. Awsome, and good luck! I want that 1999 Challenger Spark-Plug handlebar decal. I have some NOS '99 challenger bars but for some reason they have the cruiser bars decal instead...which is same but more simple and no spark plug. It's just that "C' emblem with the same orange/black background. From what I can see it was supposed to be the cruiser race bars decal from '99. Maybe someone remembers/knows more about my little situation, lol.
Sweet challenger frame! Is it an XL?

This was a score from a couple weekends ago...Anyone have the sticker pack for this year Dirt Bike?

Neal Wood International Series? Tell me more, that would make sense as I live in England. Although Im not sure why S&M picked the italian flag colours, Im guessing this is a rare sticker set?
I didnt know what the spark plug sticker was for until I saw one on a set of bars on this website the other day, I just remember the "C" emblem as well. Any ideas what the rev-counter sticker was for?
Thanks, its not an XL. Im only 5'8". LOL

at least the silver paint is nice and not a rattle can

The rev-counter sticker is for a later model Challenger, its the seat tube sticker.

I know you guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but my brown Dirt Bike may be giong up for sale. (hope it's ok to say that in the forums?)

Here's the situation:

I've been trying to track down a bike I had as a kid ('70s chopper) for almost 20 years and I just found a guy who has one, but it won't be cheap; think "Hutch-money"...so I'm going to have to sell off a few treasures to make it happen.

My question is, am I better off selling it complete, or doing the frame/forks as one sale and the redneck as another? I don't know if any of the other parts on the bike will be worth selling, so they may end up in my "later-builds" pile.

Just looking for some input.

Thanks,
Steve

I see to many people splitting stuff up and even frames and forks. You may find someone to give you good money for the complete!! Being a complete thats more treasure lol sorry you are selling but you have to do what makes you happy.

Figured since the Dirtbike was going on the block I'd take it out for a last spin....

Now I'm not so sure about letting it go, lol.

I can't tell you how many times I have said that. "Hey I can only ride one bike at a time" untill I ride the bike then all bets are off.

I'll show my newly rebuilt .38 here too.
Raced it today and got 2nd.
Did really well racing 18,19, 20 experts...outdid most of'em.
This is temporary cuz I'm having frame, froks, bars powdered gloss dark army green. It will be all these parts though except for the wheelset, which will be the new SUN 4-Stroke cassette wheelset.
23lbs. 1oz.

EL CID
nice 38 !!!! what size tt
Secret Spin
It's a 21"TT. I'm only 5'9" so it's right on. The new S&M T4 Race Bars on it are the best S&M has made comfort-wise yet. 10 degrees backsweep,4 degrees upsweep and 8"x27". About 25oz. too.

Not a bike, but it's "S&M". I finally got around to recreating my old S&M hat from the early 90's. I had it done at a hat shop at the mall.
It's not an exact replica, but it's the best I could do from memory & some fuzzy pics on Ryan's site.
Works for me!

-Bill
kcmobmx
that hat is dope! makes me want one
RyanPartridge
Yeah, that hat turned out awsome.

Speaking of replica hats...

I've got a Fall Guy Stunt Association patch on the way. biggrin.gif
EL CID
gimme one I like that. I had one years ago that just said S&M HAT
wagonguy
I guess it's time to add mine to this list. I'm really hooked on the S&M stuff. THese are what I have right now:

1" threaded Challenger

a pair of 1 1/8" Dirtbikes with 990's

And a 1" threaded Holmes that is currently getting repaired. I have most of the parts to build this when it gets done. I think it is going to be white, with blue parts:

Opinions welcome!

Wagonguy,

That chrome Challenger is NICE!!!

I had one sometime in the mid 90's, but unfortunately, sold it to probably an old roomate or
somebody so that I could buy a Standard BMX. I wish I still had the Standard too, but I sure
do wish I had kept the S&M!!

Anyway, cool bikes!!

Quad,

Super cool find my man!!! CONGRATS!!

Man that is a nice photo. Saved that one to my desk top. Coolest part about the bike is the red dust caps on the pedals.

Hopefully I've done this right. This is a pix of my pride and joy. 1989 Mad Dog. Original frame and fork. Everything else I've had to repurchase.
Scot F.
My RV24. Just got it saturday. Put it together and raced it saturday night.

wagonguy
Here are the finished pictures of the Holmes pictured above. I weighed having it professionally repaired vs. having someone at work repair it, and decided to give a guy at my work a chance. He sounded confident he could do it. It didn't turn out quite as nice as I had hoped, so I just spraybombed it white and built it with parts I had in the garage. It looks pretty good from a distance, and rides great!

2003 S&M RV's

wagonguy
Here are mine all together:

Doug
Faust Wurstkotzenhauser

S&M 24 Cruiser frame
S&M 24 Pitchfork
FSA Robinson cranks
Sun Ringle ZuZu pedals
GT 43t chainring
Shimano 18t freewheel
Sedis Sport 3/32 chain
Redline chain tensioners
TNT Revolver hubs
Sun BFR rims
Maxxis Holy Roller tires 1.85
Shadow Conspiracy seat
S&M seat post
Profile seat post clamp
S&M Redneck stem
S&M G.ay bars
King headset
Oury grips
Tech 77 brake levers
ACS Boa front brake
Tektro V brake rear

I built this bike in 2001 from mostly new and some NOS parts. It is my favorite bike ever!

I named this bike "The Punisher" because of how many times I have crashed on it. It rides so well that it gives me false confidence sometimes... I just got it back up and running with a new King headset after the FSA "Pig" pro headset failed in a crash that I had two years ago, which also took out my front rim. I'm happy to have it back up and running 100% again!
Faust Wurstkotzenhauser
My favorite S&M Bikes T-shirt that I got around 1992...

Does anyone have the facilities to re-issue some old shirts? I would love to have a new one like this and a matching hoodie...
